Just wondering how far you gents would routinely drive to see a ATF.

I drove (nearly) weekly over a hundred miles one way to see mine but I see lots of threads where the clients want the lady to come to them. I get it--jobs, spouses, etc. and I know Dallas and Houston lads drive nearly as far as me just to the other side of town. But, IF you had a regular ATF, how far would you drive?

I used to make regular trips 3 to 4 hours one way, depending on where I was when I left. 2 to 3 time especially month. Stayed the night, or three.

You do what you have to do...If I want to see her, I'd drive to where she is... if she was next door, I wouldn't have to drive that far - If she was 3 hours away, I would have to drive about... oh... let me see....ummmm ....like, I don't know... 3 hours - I think.

How long does it take you to watch 60 Minutes??

About 45 minutes. I DVR it and cut the ads.

270 miles/4 hours there. Mid-day 2 hour rendezvous. 270 miles/ 4 hours back home again. All in the same day.

Done this many times. She's worth it.

Had to Google map this one to make sure. I've driven from Memphis to Fort Wayne, Indiana to see a lady on my "to do" list (not even an ATF, and didn't become one, though I had a nice enough time). Almost eight hours one way. That may not count, since I combined that with a business trip to Niagara Falls, but Fort Wayne was out of my way and I drove straight there first, before then heading to NF.

To see a favorite? Memphis to Kansas City, MO. Twice. About 7 hours one way.

How far is too far for me? I don't know... I do have it on my bucket list to take a trip to DFW for a couple days and see some of the ladies there before I hang up my cleats for good. (Memphis to FW would be about 7 hours one-way, about the same as KC, so I probably shouldn't count that, since I've done the KC run.)

I've got a couple Denver ladies on my bucket list, too... That would be about 15.5 hours' drive. I can do that (I did Memphis to El Paso when I went to visit my daughter and son-in-law when he was stationed at Fort Bliss), though it'll require an overnight stop somewhere on the way.

I think it depends on you and your RW lifestyle. I am self employed with 2 companies and have a SO/family. I am located half way between Shreveport and Dallas. I have seen many on Eccie that I wish I could drive to see but my RW life will not permit me hobbying outside of my small town except on very rare occassions. Since I hobby once per week, they have to come to me. I have 4 ATFs that will come to Tyler. Two will adjust their plans and come nearly immediately (within a few days of the request) and 2 take some planning on their schedules as they are over 250 miles away.

If I were retired and could hide myself on a golf outing, I would be putting my ball in her hole on her home course!!

I routinely drive 75+ miles/just over an hour one way to visit most of the ladies in OKC. Thankfully, there are 5 or 6 ladies willing to dive to me in Lawton occasionally. Will be romping with one of them tomorrow in fact.

I flew to Florida once a month
It was my get-a-way

I drove 2 hours once to see a 4'9, 95 pound spinner and was definitely worth it.
But spent the weekend with her once we met.

I drive to New Orleans randomly which is about 3 hours for me. I use it as a business trip, but the whole intent is to see one of my ATF's

3 hours one way would be about the max I would drive just to see a girl. I have done some weekends or over nights farther away, but we spent the night or three together.

I've driven 125-150 miles each way, various spots in the Little Rock area, because of particular talents I was seeking. Would easily go farther if I could concoct a credible cover story for the SO.

I would drive twenty-five thousand miles, if the car I was driving could turn into a boat with enough charge to cross the ocean (It has an electric motor.). A neat idea might be to install solar panels on its roof and an alternator on its propellor to increase its battery life. I would also need an experienced navigator. Otherwise, an airplane might be a better option. However, I am not knowledgeable about aviation. So, I am unsure if it can be built.
