I'm sure this thread occurred in the past, but since I have never seen it I will take the liberty of starting one. This is a question open to both the providers and hobbyists. How did you get into the hobby?

I was on either CL or BP about 12 years ago, just browsing and ran across an ad for an escort. I remember running across the term ASPD, and wondering what the hell it was, so I hit google, and found the site. I was blown away!
