Here's an idea, "feedback" in the form of alternative suggestion.
On line you can find websites that keep track of your calories etc. It's done with a menu for your meals and snacks during the day. I've used this one:
https://www.myfooddiary.com/login
I costs about $10 a month. You set up your menu on there with your target intake and look for foods that you like (not necessarily your "first choice" but you can eat with the calorie and nutrient intakes) ... ALSO if you shop at a grocery chain you can go on that stores main website and you find in there a section that provides the "food label" information you normally see on cans, etc. You can add those foods to the "food diary" menu you develop. Set a target intake based on what your doctor says is "safe" .. may be back off that slightly on the calories.
Then stick to that intake and religiously log in your food intake to keep track of how you are doing on your target.
Another suggestion and don't answer substantively: If your feet ache or joints when you try to exercise (which you need to move around unless you are totally disabled) then ... Black unsweetened Cherry Juice IS THE ANSWER! A shot (1 oz) in the a.m. and a 2nd shot in the PM (only 2 a day) for a couple of weeks and then cut back to one shot a day EVERYDAY! You may not believe me, but the pain will go away .. but keep up the shot a day ... a 32 oz bottle costs about $5.00 at HEB/Krogers/Walmart.
Notice: No meds!
Again no comment please: If you have kidney problems most, like 99%, of the meds drs prescribe are not good for your kidneys ... and if you don't with your obesity it's a miracle and great if you don't! But you need to protect them!
Look up food could for lowering blood pressure. Sweet potatoes is the best .... you can look those up on line.
Here's the rule of thumb on foods for losing weight:
If the main ingredient of the food is used to make alcoholic beverages (like grains) don't eat it (or minimize consumption) becaise it's generating sugar in your body.
