Of course it's fucking disingenuous to make the claim that you run into more idiots outside of a strange subculture like this than unless the rest of your interactions are even more bizarre.

It's like admitting that you have bad judgment and have terribly mismanaged your affairs.

The only time I run into more damaged individuals than hooks is when walking through parks and other public areas where bums congregate in major cities.

Also JB's point about glorifying hook ads by starring them is childishly transparent and his list of those that do this is almost certainly accurate.
