Where to stay in Dallas?

Hi ill be visiting dallas for the first time feb 17-19 and would like to know where is the best place to stay? And is there some areas i should stay away from??

i searched this forum and the Co-ed forum for threads w/ "where" or "stay" in them. here are a few of what eccie returned. the last two were from a thread where a guy linked to them, searched for "hotel"
