There should be a standard of ethics and truthfulness we should hold our elected officials to. This also should apply to their representatives. Whether it is a Republican or Democratic administration, we should not be mislead or lied to. Both major parties should be held accountable.

Yes, but doesn't it depend on what the definition of the word "is" is?

Henry Hyde, Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingston, Dennis Hassert, all the hypocrites involved in the impeachment proceedings who all were cheating themselves and lying about it. Ya gotta love our politicians.

While we can all choose to get bent out of shape over consensual extramarital affairs (Bill Clinton, Henry Hyde, Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingston, Dennis Hassert etc), I personally am more concerns about lies to cover up matters of national security and principals of our constitution.

Seriously Jeffrey ..... picking on Kelly Ann is old news ..... a better question you should have asked is "should the U.S. Senate let Elizabeth Warren go/" ..... certainly more relevant and up to date .....

I don't mean to get off Kelly Ann but -OMG, did you see Elizabeth Warren? Now I am not against Democratic women ---I voted for Ann Richards for Governor of Texas- because I thought she was the best person for the job - I loved her. Anyway, Elizabeth thinks that she could actually run for President in 2020. Now does anybody think the south or rural America would vote for her? Are they so out of touch with America? This is just upsetting.

What don't you like about Elizabeth Warren? Opposition to Jeff Sessions and DeVos is healthy. In the end, only time will tell how good or bad this administration is. I do give them credit for doing what they promised but some times shocking the system comes with a price.

No, I agree - debate is healthy. The thing I don't like about her is that she is so polarizing. She comes off as --and this is to me - like when someone runs their fingernails on a chaulk board. Very angry and doesn't seem to get along well with others.

SO POLARIZING?

Yeah, Twitler is a uniter not a divider.

Week four in the alternative universe of the Turd Reich and the gummint is already rounding people up.

Jesus, you're a hypocrite, Ellen.

Oh man, Elizabeth Warren is now the face of the democratic party. I really hope she runs for President in 2020 now. Talk about a shoe in for Trump. Woot woot! - They still are clueless. They can't seem to check their "moral superiority " - mark my words--if they don't change that attitude - they will lose.

And you can't discuss the reality of the situation.

More alternative talking points.

Normalcy (enforcing laws) appears as chaos when a nation ignores them for nearly a decade.

You would think people know this as it is common sense. However, common sense went out the window in the Obama administration.
