So who is responsible for when a review should be written? Is the burden on the John to ask if it is OK to write a review or the provider to specify that they do not want a review written?

My take is that the burden is on the provider to specify they do not want a review written and I have had some in the past specify that. Does it change anything if the provider uses your past reviews as a way of verifying your identity? They know you do reviews so does the burden fall more on their shoulders at that point?

What is everyone else's take on the issue.

Task is right more or less but, its nice to be asked. Some ladies love reviews and some would rather not have any/minimal. Bottom line its your choice, we are hooks, comes with the job...

When asked NOT to write a review I will abstain. Otherwise it's my choice to decide,. I feel that if a Good (or outstanding) provider that has treated me well prefers not to have a review that I will respect her wish.

Is she has no preference, or would love a review (typical), or provides a deceptive or inferior service, I feel open to review or not at my pleasure (or displeasure).

Thank you for the replies. I have abstained from reviews when asked. I have not reviewed everyone I have seen every time either as frequent yes repeats are not needed as well. I appreciated everyone's input especially the providers who chimed in.

As a gentleman, I always ask if they want to be reviewed,,most often the response is absolutely,or yes please,ironicaly , my last date I had just before christmas,asked if I would review her without mentioning cim with swallow since that was a new addiion to her menu, hence I suggested we skip it for now until she was comfotable with what she was doing.

The GENTLEMAN thing is to ask the provider if she would like a review...

I only post negative reviews. Positive reviews do little but exacerbate the immense problem which has (most likely) inadvertantly surfaced in this thread.

Another shining example of the reality that there is not enough professionalism in this game. And by "professionalism" I mean the same level of professionalism you would expect to encounter from the cashier at the grocery store.
