10 trillion more debt in stimulus spending, and the economy barely improves - you cannot call that a great success.

Default the national debt

I agree that the national debt is a major challenge, a HUGE issue, and neither party seems able to confront it with any real, lasting energy. It has assumed "slogan" status. IMHO the rising national debt will be a problem until we stop worshipping the "bigger is better" philosophy. How can we expect frugality from public servants who live or aspire to live a gold-plated existence? What does Donald Trump understand about belt tightening? He has no interest in living modestly or conservatively or frugally. Bill Clinton, it seems, has morphed into the same kind of person, though he is more a wanna-be mogul. This is not a partisan problem, it is a problem troubling our national mindset. It is especially bothersome that hardworking, regular guys like me and so many others pay taxes year in and year out, live modestly and within our means, and we watch the wealthy play the system, using taxpayer monies to fund their excessive use of resources and national infrastructure. It pisses me off, for example, that fat cats in the coal industry have folks like me helping subsidize the black lung health care program. But that's only one small example...the list goes on and on. The national debt is a national sickness, a cancer that seems associated with an increasingly insulated need for more and more. Frugality is no longer associated with the American Dream. I also present this thought: Those who advise more frugality and more modesty are shunned by the mainstream and name-called as anti-American. Someone on this board will call me an eco-tard or a lib-tard, or some other negative, hateful name. Meanwhile, the exploiters will move on, watching in amusement as regular folks name-call and fight over self-serving factoids that have been dished out by skillful, diabolical public relations firms.

That's called "the internet"! This blog ("forum") reflects that tactic/process.

Here's the poster-child of 2017 ...

Actually telling Trump to "grow up"!!!!

It solves nothing.

They do not seem to understand that people are catching on to their game of claiming victory when they were beaten. I guess the liberals are taking their cue from Herr Hitler - the bigger the lie, the better.

So HillaryNoMore decides to run for office in a "sanctuary city"!

The "newly registered voters" are used to voting in corruption!

In their "homeland" is never "IF" someone is corrupt.

It's HOW MUCH are they corrupt!
