If Putin had helped Hillary win, he wouldn't be as concerned about Putin hacking some emails. Considering Russia has enough nukes to blow our shit up 7 times over, it makes sense to try to create a reasonable relationship with them, though one should definitely not make the mistake of thinking they are not potentially very harmful.

Trump should should keep flattering Putin, he seems to like that.
