I really stopped being on this site, however, I was bit curious what had changed here and took a peek. I don't usually read long posts, but I read every word of this one. That was some rant Claire! I found it interesting reading the female perspective of the clientele. God, I can't fathom the amount of stupidity and awkward stuff they must get in a daily basis. Seriously, because I know I'm a patient person, but I for sure wouldn't be able to put up with much.

I do think the haggling is ridiculous. Do you try to bargain with your doctor or barber? I've never seen the level of disrespect for a professional service provider as I have in this community. Don't like my rates? Idgaf - I obviously didn't set them with you in mind. Theres a pretty good range of options here so move on. Every time someone asks me for a discount or has a comment about my rates I want to raise them.

I agree with your statement there are plenty of options on the board. I disagree with your two options, those careers are licensed by the state and providers are not. What I take from this thread is the level of unprofessionalism. That is why there are reviews posted to inform mongers of a providers level of service. If the level of service is lacking I wouldn't want to see that provider regardless of her rate.

We are verified and reviewed and I still think the comparison works enough to get my point across. You think douche bags would quit haggling if we were licensed? I don't but anyone have a perspective on this from somewhere where it's legal and licensed?
I was just getting my nails done while reading this and I thought about the reaction and service I would get at this salon if I told them they are charging too much for a pedicure and I would like a nice foot discount. Because I have nice feet and I'm sure they get so much pleasure out of this pedicure they'd just assume do it for free since it gives them the opportunity to caress my sweet feet.

Wow, this thread took a wrong turn. Agree with the posts, different folks come here for different reasons, both side of the fence. And, I like my rates to be respected, you don't really want the discount when the rubber hits the road so pay the proper fare and get excellent service.

With that, want to get back to the best part of the post, the pussy licking part.

I think taxes are usually added on top. So it would be an additional amount on top of my rate.
