My understanding is that the registration fee was just the beginning. Some states wanted a bond. Going to fed court probably just requires a couple of hundred dollars. She never had the $7MM in hand.

Having a real recount done in PA was next to impossible both fiscally and logistically.

So much for wanting to ensure EVERY VOTE COUNTED!

Strange how the Dims cite this battle cry but they don't want to ensure that every vote counted was cast by a legitimate US citizen.

There's a filing fee, but based on the petition request the costs are estimated and the petitioner must pay the advance based on the cost estimate before the "counting begins" ... Someone has to pay for all that shit and the person causing the stink out to be the one to front the dough.

But what do we know about being "Liberal" .... They pass out others' money for their little "projects"! When they have to belly up with the cash ... it's not so much a "principle" any more, but "PRINCIPAL"!!!!!

I do like the Federal concept ... the Federal Judge can charge the whole thing to her and the Clintons (if they are a party) ... including the opposition's legal fees and expenses.

The above link has an embedded copy of the Federal Judge's order and opinion that was signed and filed by the Court regarding the Michigan recount. One can determine from the Court's discussion of the law the significance of the two SCOTUS opinions arising out of the 2000 lawsuits and recounts in Florida.

In the current instance ... Little Lizzie lacks "standing" because she is not an "aggrieved" person based on her skimpy vote count. One can also invision, which was apparently the case, Trump gaining votes.

My understanding is no go in PA, they didn't follow the process.
In MI, a judge finally squashed it. Is that still holding?
In WI, they were still recounting with very little change in outcome.

The Fed courts are ambivalent.

I guess the Dims are banking on a "December surprise" since I haven't heard of any more renegade electors.

That "argument" goes something like this:
