I know several providers have all the business they want or need. Some have regular jobs during gatherings. Some do not want to attend for other reasons. That is fine.
BUT FOR ALL THOSE THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW SLOW HOBBY IS, WHERE THE REAL HOBBYISTS ARE... WELL OBVIOUSLY YOU AREN'T LOOKING

"THE REAL HOBBYISTS". That is fucking funny, right there, now.
Arrogant as hell, but funny just the same.
So anyone who didn't attend, isn't a "real hobbyist"?
(Rhetorical question)

SA Angel--- thanks I didn't think about how it sounded from ones who attended. They said they would attend and did show up. didn't mean to imply they needed business.
Also, I should have specified that to all Providers. This complaint is directed at the COMPLAINERS that put SA down, SA hobbyists, and the hobby in general.
Established providers (like SA Angel) know how to run their businesses and manage their time. I'm impressed with how well some manage jobs, RW, families.
P.s. I read co-ed, men's lounge, talk to providers and hobbyists and this is not new. feel free to pretend it's me.

sms916, let me see if I have this correct.
You're upset because none of the un-established providers who don't know how to run their business or manage their time,
who put San Antonio and the San Antonio hobbyists down, as well as the hobby, in general,
and who constantly complain that business is slow, showed-up for this gathering?
Did I get that right?
Why would you want to target that segment of the provider-pool?
Well, whomever you're wishing would attend, might I offer a suggestion?
Take a step-back and try to see this through the eyes of someone, (thinck:new-provider, or even an established out-of-towner),
who might be interested in attending, or possibly is considering attending one of these shindigs for the first time...
Can you see how this thread might be a little off-putting?
(meaning; discouraging to potential attendees?)
Perhaps a better approach would be to encourage providers to attend,
as opposed to throwing an online pout-bout/call-out, because they didn't.
...just something to thinck about...
Because what I took away from all of this was...
But on the bright side,
(...but then again, I'm more fucked-up than Aunt Frieda's annual Christmas Fruitcake)
So there's that....heh!
Just trying to help...
