^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Wow....thank you so much, Rex....but honestly (Yawn) you're coming to the party a little late with that Hot Take. At the Week 10 point of the season, those are kinda a been there, done that kinda sentiment. Dak would have to fall off the edge of the earth to not win the Rookie of the Year award at this point.....and Zeke is a very serious contender as this year's league MVP.
As we near the pre-and-post Thanksgiving Holiday part of the schedule, this is no time to let the foot off the gas. The Boys come home to face the Ravens and then the Redskins in a four day span. Then a Thursday night road game @ Minnesota. While the Vikes are currently on a four-game skid, neither Baltimore nor Washington can be taken lightly.
And especially with a game looming in New York (Giants) in another month. New York is nothing to write home about (but) dangerous just the same AND has an easy schedule between now and the time we visit them.
If Dallas can go into the Tampa Bay game (Dec 18) with the same lead they currently enjoy, this division is pretty much theirs. It'll be time then to start positioning themselves for Home Field Advantage throughout the playoffs.
Been a while since anyone's been able to say that around here, hmmm?

Anybody else see Tony's news conference on NBC 5? Thought he was gonna retire...he just looked like a beaten man, depressed. I suppose I would be too, if head coach Jerry Jones proclaimed I am now the backup.
Poor Jerry. Just can't control himself in an orgasmic moment.

Just watched it (on ESPN). Pro, I thought Tony looked more frustrated than anything. I think he's frustrated because his most recent injury (the preseason game in Seattle) was the very catalyst that opened the door for Dak Prescott's success. Dollars to donuts, in his mind, he feels he is (still) a better quarterback than his successor but....
BUT...Dak has the hot hand going....the team is on an unbelievable roll...and as difficult as it is for him to admit, Tony knows in his heart his future as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys has come to an end.
Oh and a tip of the cap to Charlie for posting that photo of the young lady who may truly have the world's finest ass. Wow oh wow...

I thought Romo handled it with class today. It would be great love for Dak & Zeke to keep this thing rolling for a deep playoff run. However part of me can't help but think that Dak is going to take a hit & Romo will see the field before the end of the year.
Beyond this year...who knows. Gotta figure Romo is playing elsewhere in 2017.

Thought it was classy too. He didn't need to do it, maybe he did it to end speculation of what he'll do next. And yeah, players get injured. Who else in the league has a better backup with Romo's resume?

9th W in a row...In the Books! Dak-to-Dez combination is starting to heat up, hmmm?
Anyways, hope Da Boys that played today all got ice bath treatments after the game...deep tissue massages, etc....and get plenty of rest. Turnaround for next game is in the blink of an eye...Washington in Four Days.
Around the NFC.....NY Giants won. Again.
Minnesota won...again (finally). And have a Turkey Day date with Detroit; both teams 6-4.
In the west, the Seattle chalked up another win (keep an eye on them....Russell Wilson's finally gotten healthy.)
Speaking of Skins, big game tonight (same for their opponent, Green Bay). Both need a W to keep pace.

The Cowboys are 10-1 after last Thur's Thanksgiving Day victory. Ten W's in a Row....and counting. Still...much work remains before any team goals that have been set are realized. Next up...a business trip to Minnesota this coming Thursday night.
Well, now that that's been covered, let's turn our attention for now to the remarkable (and historic) season Dak Prescott is having. And not just in W's he's helping to produce but from an individual standpoint.
Prescott is well on his way in destroying all the existing records for rookie quarterbacks in the NFL. There are household names, future and past, who have had great 1st year seasons as their team's signal caller, ie: Roethlisberger...Brady...Wilso n....Brees....Marino to name a few. That said, here's what Dak is on pace to do...
4,123 yds passing
26 tds
3 int's
67.8% completion rate
108.6 passer rating
Not too bad....considering this is really an offense built around an outstanding O-line and and equally outstanding running back. Who is also assaulting a few NFL rushing records of his own.
No telling how far this team will go this year once its all said and done. One thing we should look forward to, to be sure....DC Rod Marinelli is gonna be rewarded for his patience with many if not most of next year's draft picks designated to bolster his defense. And that, for Cowboy fans, should be very, very exciting news.

Cowboys need to get somebody that can intercept a pass. I'd be throwing on them 90% of the time if I was an opposing coach.

Dallas normally tries to stay with a 50/50 balance on draft picks with Defense to Offense. Last year.........Smith (2d), Collins (3rd) Tapper (4th), Brown (6th)..........that is 4 of 8 pics for the defense.

Week 11 superbowl prediction Raiders vs Cowboys...............I predicted trump, the cubs, and very early on Dak's ability would surpass Romo's easily........

Any opposing coach throwing 90% of the time in the NFL is asking to be beaten on a regular basis....especially when facing Dallas.
Go three and out on just a couple of your possessions vs the Cowboys and that miscue plays right into Dallas' game plan: you end up putting Dak and Zeke back onto the field to eat up yardage and the clock, while you continue to wear your own defense out.
Ask Washington how throwing the ball (74% of their overall plays last Thur vs Dallas) worked for them....Pittsburgh (70%) a couple of weeks prior.
I'm sure you're being somewhat cheeky while saying that, Pro. It's true, while Dallas does not pile up many take-aways.....their offense on the other hand does a nice job of not giving the ball away either.
