Sure she can run her business any way she wants but that's what we're discussing. Why would a provider ask for a picture and as a hobbyist would you provide a picture for screening?
What are the risks? There has to be reason to ask for a picture and I don't think that's the normal way to screen so what's the point behind it? What benefit can that do for screening? Can that picture be used to do damage to the client? It is to weed out somebody that's unattractive (would probably lose 90 of their customers), to eliminate a race?
It's a good topic....maybe some newbies will learn some safety tips.
|
That's the thing. There shouldn't be a "why does a provider do this and that" we are entitled to do what we feel is necessary. There isn't a provider rulebook that says we can't do this and do that. If you're not willing to send the photo then go to someone that don't ask for a photo. Simple

I've been known to ask for pics if the guy doesn't have references or none of they're references have responded. I'll ask them to write they're eccie handle on piece of paper while holding it in the pic.,or something simple. Our pics are accessible for you guys, so why can't we request to see what the guy will look like before he comes to shove his cock in my mouth!! No harm about it, it just gives us a feel of the guy first hand

Don't like the provider screening methods? Move on.. If u can't comply to our request then we will simply move on.

I agree a provider can do what she wants to satisfy her screening, but my question was, exactly what does the pic of hobbyist do to satisfy your screening requirements? Does requiring to have a pic of the hobbyist tell you he is going to pay and not shortchange you? respect you and your time? That is the discussion and topic of this thread.

Because guys are the ones paying and unless he sends you a pic of his cock, what feel of the guy do you get when he sends a face pic? I have been asked a few times to send a pic and I sent this:

The only time I have asked for a pic is if the gent says we have met before, then I ask to make sure we have.

It doesn't have to be a "why". We run our business how we want because its OUR business. There are plenty of providers to choose from instead of questioning a providers business methods. Comply or find another provider.

I can give one reason off the top of my head as it relates to BP providers....
I imagine they've had more than one experience where a gent has scheduled, shown up, and perhaps been AA when they have a NBA policy. The problem with turning them down at the door is that they already have your location and can easily make your life hell.
These BP girls aren't really screening much with references, etc... the pic is the only thing that they have to go on before giving someone their location.
I personally don't agree with it.. but thats the first thing that comes to mind as why would a girl do it.

I too am guilty. But only to newbies with no references. You would think guys would appreciate providers who screen throughly. That way the client is safer in the long end. Providers on p411 are required to verify ourselves with a photo ID and picture holding the ID. Why not have clients with no references and reviews do the same?
Most serious enquiries actually don't have a problem with it. Clients who find me pretty much have done their research and I would HOPE they wouldn't think I needed extra income genenerated from black mailing lol Also what would it look like if I get pulled over with a bunch of guys pictures and IDs in my phone or laptop? Of course I delete all pics after screening. Its not that serious guys.. I think getting your license plates copied down by bp daddy's is much more dangerous to the hobby.

P411 is a repeatable business so comparing the photo with sending a pic to a bp ad is different, you may not be wanting to use the id's for other purposes but others will and you're correct about baby daddy or pimp plate blackmail, this hobby is dangerous and scary at times but it's a risk we all take for pussy and money. Hobby smart

Touche. But just to be clear I wasn't referring to responding to a BP ad. I was just speaking on how I screen for newbies without any references or reviews on this site. You fellas have a lot of guts gambling with bp. I would like to advertise on there occasionally but can do without the risk. I do think hobbyist should screen providers for their own safety.

Lots of valid points and opinions. I'll say that I've never sent a pic, since it seems to easy to use for blackmail or a sting. Ignoring the fact that the charges wouldn't stick - it's a very dangerous situation for a client as we run in a "guilt before conviction" society.
Besides, if my ugly mug can't get me a date in the real world, the last thing I want is to be rejected by someone who is paid to endure my company.
The problem is one could easily just find some random instagram picture and send it along anyhow. So it's basically a useless "screening" tool, only capable of weeding out the exceptionally dim. Even if it was a provider i'd seen in the past, my first instinct would be that the phone is compromised.
But, maybe I'm just overly paranoid.
Nina, your point is valid - everyone is entitled to run their business how they see fit. Just as I am entitled to move on to someone who provides less friction.

maybe she should lead by example and start asking for pictures of everyone who contacts her. Then she should also be ready to send pics if requested.

If the clients asks for a pic of me then i will ask him to send one first, although I immediately discard any MMS media i get from clients unless it's a pic of a Money Gram/Western union reference number.
with all the Profile pictures and Avatars on sites i would think asking for a client's pic on BP makes sense to some degree only if the provider really wants to know the description of person who's contacting and the person showing up. i guess... I personally don't see a point in asking for a pic.
