Last 4 Superbowls had a black QB. Kaep, Wilson x2 and Newton. Wilson won one....Newton and Wilson lost to future HOF QB's (Brady and P. Manning)

Offense coordinators in NFL are catering more to dual threat QBs hence more success.

Romo is fragile as a porcelain doll...he needs to retire and let dak get us to the playoffs where the patriots devastate us with a 41 to 7 score..... lets everybody know that those cheating patriots are really the best in the NFL.......cheating fuckers.........#hate the patriots....
don't feel bad for Romo.....he had sex with Carrie Underwood, and Jessica Simpson.....and he's fuckin rich!.....yeah i'd be him for a week............

Jerry said that Romo isn't healthy enough to play this coming weekend...against the 0-8 Browns. Remember when there was the "strong" possibility Tony would suit up against the Eagles? Now, not even against a winless team? Heck, put Tony in after Dak racks up a 20-point lead. If only for half a quarter. See if he fucks it up...or...gets hurt...again.

The plot thickens, lol.

"Getting to the Super Bowl is MUCH more difficult than actually winning the Super Bowl itself."....one of my favorite quotes per the great Tom Landry (after beating Miami 24-3 in Super Bowl VI).

Whether a QB is black, latino, asian or whatever...his ethnicity has nothing....absolutely nothing....to do with WINNING the NFL's ultimate game.

If Dak Prescott leads the team to a championship (this year or ever during his career), it'll be because many other factors (too many to list) were in place and went right on that minefield of a journey that is the NFL regular season and playoffs.

That said, win or lose, it won't be solely on the fact he is a rookie....or black.

Thanks for posting the link to this, Papa. That article sums it up for me.

I've always hated the phrase "quarterback controversy"....especially used (by the media not fans) when it clearly had no bearing whatsoever.

Thumbs up Great article - thanks for sharing it

Team looks amazing. The new blood is giving it new energy and that's giving it new life...
Dak is the future and he looks like he is going to be a great qb
Romo was good but his time is over - age injuries kids at home he has had his football career
Now he should be coaching dak and team full time starting 2017
Thanks and here's to a winning season

I put $100 on the Cowboys to win the superbowl this year at 27:1 while I was in Vegas. Think as long as we can stay relatively healthy we have a chance. Jaylyn smith coming back at the end of the year and maybe that boneheaded Suspended DE wouldn't hurt either

think the odds are now 9:1.

That is an interesting thesis. But there is one major flaw in it. Jerry has alrady paid Tony $25M to play football in 2017, $10M in 2018 and $5M in 2019. Which means Jerry will also have account for that salary in Salary Cap space in those years.

If Jerry trades, cuts or waives Tony.......then Tony gets to keep the money. If Tony retires early, then he has to repay what is left on the contract when he retires.

So if you are Tony, are you going to retire...........didnt think so.

Who fucking cares about Dak's ethnicity. He's a damn good QB, humble, handsome and clean cut. He loves his mother (RIP) he's not cocky like these other new QBs (Newton) He reminds me of a young Staubach.
Black QBs rarely win superbowls because there are barely any. I can only list a handful and it's gone up a little from the last couple of years. Most black people want to be Running backs and wide receivers because those are the positions that get the most spotlight I guess.
Idk, why black guys don't want to be quarterbacks. I guess it's the same as coaching.
Doug Williams and Wilson are the only 2 with Super Bowl wins.

Sadly I expected more from Robert Griffin III, Michael Vick, and Vince Young. Since they were such "prodigies"

But Prescott being black irrelevent. I actually didn't even know he was black til it was brought up. Thought he was Latino or something.
