Anyone else get blown off by a provider repeatedly?

If you're comfortable posting it, post name of ECCIE Verified Provider, approximate date and details. Habitually rude NCNS's will not be tolerated anymore. Should've never been tolerated in the first place, whether the client thinks she was worth it or not, is irrelevant. Unrepentant, habitual offenders should be exposed if the provider doesn't respond to the allegations with a reasonable explanation.

That is an intolerable, opportunistic, inexcusable and inappropriate behavior that should be condemned by all. Let's get rid of these bad apples.

It's time that YOU, as a client get some consideration for YOUR TIME, after all YOU pay for THEIR time too.

Do Providers get equal time informing the Board of Hobbyist doing the same?
Will they experience a backlash for illuminating the side of the Hobby fence the OP is on?

There is only one who has burned me with a NCNS. She has a history of it and I know many here had had the same issue with her. Her Initials are A.R. The only thing that kind of gets under my skin is I let her get me twice.

I had saw her 2 or 3 times in Pensacola with no issues. She was great, So I thought maybe some of the reputation around her was B.S. Then one evening we had an appointment in Mobile. We were texting all day, and was still texting up until maybe an 1 1/2 before the appt. She had already gave me the name of the hotel. So I drive an hour and 15 minutes one way to see her, only to be left sitting in the car in the parking lot, calling, texting, sending PM's on here and P411. Nothing never heard a word from miss A.R. Even days later I send a PM just hoping to get some kind of an excuse. Sorry I had a flat tire and my phone fell into a mud puddle and I had no way to contact you. nothing crickets. I didn't talk to her or hear from her for over a year.

Then early this year she announces her retirement tour, and sends me this very thoughtful, sweet honest sounding PM, apologizing for any misunderstandings in the past and basically begging me to come see her. Like a dummy I gave her a second shot. She does call to cancel the Tuesday appt and asks if we can reschedule for Thursday. I say yes no problem. Thursday comes same thing we are texting back and forth all day, gives me the name of the hotel in Pcola. I drive an hour one way to go see her, to be left sitting in the parking lot again. Same thing, I call text, every 5 minutes, from 10 minutes before until 20 after. I am sitting there sending her a PM and just happen to look up and see her driving off in her car. The thought of chasing her down comes to mind then gong to jail. So I just say screw it.

She did send me a PM a couple days later to say that her phone died, and that she had to go to AT&T to get a new one. Convenient her phone died after texting all day then an hour before business opens it crashed. Never got any other excuse than that, never any promise of making it up, nothing.

Not getting to see her doesn't bother me, the fact that I wasted about 6 hours of my time to be left sitting in a parking lot does. She does not get a third chance no matter how sweet the PM she sends me.

And they do use that option. Some have even posted in the Alert section at times. Wrong forum, but right idea. That way it's fair for everybody. That's all I really wanted in the first place. What started this conflict. Fair and equal time and representation.

No BS, or backlash, just an opportunity to determine the validity of reason why an NCNS occurred, Allowing the membership, both Provider and Client, to judge for themselves whether or not to see the other person given another opportunity. The repeated, chronic offense should be reason enough to indicate there is a problem.

And Precious, it was worth the trouble to get here to this point. Thanks for the opportunity you gave me to inject some humor into the situation with the "Grammar Nazi" comment BTW. Got a little hot in there for a bit. Needed a few laughs to lighten the mood.

So everybody, please participate in this effort. Nothing changes unless you ACT.

What I don't understand is why a provider would do that to a regular such as it was with SexyChloe that it would result in frustration and pointless runarounds when a simple "I can't see you" would have sufficed. Or an "I don't want to see you" from Anna Lane. Either one would have been more than enough to make me go elsewhere. So why waste my time going to see them in the first place?

So why am I asking that this practice of making an appointment when they have no intention of keeping to stop? Ask yourself that Gyro? You seem to be smart enough to figure that out.

Other members have experienced the same but some might not want it known publicly for wanting to give the provider a second chance. But when it's repeated.........over time......What do you do about it? And how would you spare your fellow hobbyist from having to endure that same waste of time? What have YOU done to alleviate that condition?

Or do you sit there in judgement at someone who decides he's had enough of this shit? Are YOU going to help or just help cloud the issue?

Yes, I have been blown off by providers. Won't name them here. Hotrix, this is actually a decent topic. If you want candid responses, maybe post this same topic in the Men's Lounge.

I have had it a couple of times. It does happen sometimes. Part of this biz. One time it was a reg and it was his 2nd time. Bitched him out. He dropped off donation because he felt bad. We all suck sometimes.

I guess I am lucky I have never had a NC/NS I have had a few that didn't work out for the time or day I was trying for but they were good about calling me and letting me know . so it was just re-sheld and it was all good.

But then a again I have had to call on afew times that I couldn't make but we re-sheld.And it was all good !
