Exactly true--both sides want to be safe, and both sides have their idea of what does and does not make them feel safe. Each lady's situation is different, and each guy's as well so what they are willing/not willing to deem "acceptable screening" will vary. I have missed out on seeing a few ladies I would like to meet, but we could not find common ground. That does't mean I am upset at them. And if my situation changes I may well seek them out.

she (FL) gave me the same line on another thread where I was trying to be helpful. Are your "OKs" from P411 up to date? Meaning 3-6 months old? Also did you contact her through P411 sending her an appointment request? Or eccie by PM?

many providers ask for photo especially if you been a member for very long time with no references. Or if you have real old reviews.

if a gentleman is uncomfortable with providing a photo of himself he can just move on to the next provider. every provider screens different and every gentleman is different.

I have seen some gentlemen who offer me there photo or employment information as part of there screening .

Also I will admit to asking for a photo just because I had a feeling that it was a fake handle . and his/her response was exactly what I was expecting.

That may be, but some of us do it better. This business is not a competition. If you're not winning, it's no ones fault but your own. We work in ways that best suit our lifestyles, and others work as if they don't care. The fact that you're obviously very bitter, I would think twice about contacting you for a reference.

And FYI: some of the best clients are not considered hobbyists, never post here, or don't want a P411 account for the very same reason some of you would never give a lady your personal information.

My okays are current. Why paid P411, if I'm going to have to give personal information and pictures? The whole point is to protect my identity.

I think you are painting with a very broad brush.

I make no claim that I know all the ladies on P411, but I have seen several dozen, and very very rarely have any of them expressed any concern about the "age" of my references there. And while a couple non-P411 ladies have asked for a photo, I have never had any P411 lady ask for a photo but for me it would not be an issue to send her one--I know that is different for other folks.

If a lady insists on a photo and you are not comfortable with that--see someone else. If they are not content with your number or quantity of references--see someone else. But I suspect the ladies who are concerned about those points are a minority.

Depending on what avenue I advertise on, I sometimes ask for a picture.

1 for safety reasons
2 I have the right to see who is coming to my door
3 just as hobbyists don't pick us without seeing us it's only fair
that I am also able to see you!
4 cuts down on time wasters and game players

If I was not a p411 member then maybe... I would send a photo. I understand that p411 is not LE proof but when you have more than 10 oakys and current it should be enough.

Unfortunately some guys hide behind p411 to disguise the fact they have been blacklisted by their phone number - I had it happen and def lost some faith in p411. It's a good tool but shouldn't be the only means of verification - it no longer is for me anyways. I always require a phone number now.

Everyones situation is different... not everyone uses the same tactics as others... For instance... I havent been able to get accepted to P411 because my reviews arent recent... so I cant screen that way... and for those who dont have any reviews or any references from providers, yes i ask for real life info, full name, all that jazz. Because while men may say "my real name is too risky to give out", well seeing a man who can not verify who he is in ANY way.... that in itself is too risky.... and for those who are complaining, be happy that the providers are willing to work with you and give you other alternatives to being screened... if not, go find someone who doesnt mind the risk.. Safety is important for everyone, bottom line.

I will never give personal,real world information for screening. That is ridiculous. I'm sure it's been said before,but there is RISK for both parties. If you cannot deal with the risk, do something else for a hobby or an income.

I've heard some ladies state that they do this, and I can't really see the benefit, or how it increases their safety. Any one could be sending any picture, how would she know. There are much better, more discreet, ways to connect someone's dots.

But, as others have stated, she applies her screening as she feels comfortable, and you have to make the same decisions on your end as well. Sometimes what makes each comfortable results in a mis-match. It is what it is.
