I've been laughing for years at the many folks who damn-near deified Powell.. they were so happy to have a black guy they thought was one of them.. even promoted his name for President, LOL..
the man is all about Colin Powell, fuck everyone else.. twice he spoke at Republican national conventions, and fellow Republicans cringed as he supported the most leftist Democratic policies.. so funny.. now he slanders Trump and calls Cheney an idiot. there's still some of you that refuse to understand that Powell is a Charlatan, so you hang on his not-so-nice remarks about the Clintons.
He was not some "tin soldier" like John Kerry. Powell was wounded much in the same manner as I was, trip wire and booby trap. He is a true combat veteran, someone who put himself in harms way as a course of duty.
But he let me down when he twice endorsed President Obama. Regardless of his public reasons, he did it for one reason. He was a Black Man.
He knew from day one that Obama was nothing but a smarmy little Demagogue who was totally unqualified to be Commander in Chief. History has proven this out.
I can't get into Powell's head to find out his reasoning. Pent up hatred, racism, frustration over his own failures, who knows.
But suffice to say, he sold a lot of his dignity down the tube when he failed to have the courage and step up to tell people what President Obama really was.
