What will probably happen if he goes back to Brazil to be questioned by the police.

Nobody cares about swimmers. And it is useless as entertainment.

Not quite like the First 48 but not a bad a confession to start:

Quote:
Bentz said he, Lochte and two other swimmers - all gold medalists at the Rio Games - had been in a taxi when they stopped at the gas station to use the bathroom, contradicting Lochte’s initial account of being pulled over by gunmen posing as police.

“There was no restroom inside, so we foolishly relieved ourselves on the backside of the building behind some bushes,” Bentz said in a statement issued via the University of Georgia, where he attends college.
“I am unsure why, but while we were in that area, Ryan pulled to the ground a framed metal advertisement that was loosely anchored to the brick wall.”

Armed security guards then challenged the swimmers and one of them drew a gun and demanded they sit down, but Lochte then stood up and yelled at one of the guards, Bentz said, adding that he and team mate Jack Conger had tried to restrain him.

“After Jack and I both tugged at him in an attempt to get him to sit back down, Ryan and the security guards had a heated verbal exchange, but no physical contact was made,” Bentz said.

Not saying we cant fuck up or make mistakes but by all accounts he was raised very well and has a good descent so when someone with that pedigree and profile goes out of his way to perpetuate the lie that could possibly have negative consequences for a country then yes it's classified in the very least as shocking. In my humble opinion.
If you hold the President of USA to at least the same standards you have set for swim-fast-boy you must be damn near dead from shock.

Dude made his hair brown again and issued an apology without admitting any wrongdoing on his part. What a TARD! Too little, too late.

Swimmer Ryan Lochte posted an apology to his Instagram on Friday in response to his claim that he and teammates James Feigen, Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz were held at gunpoint during a night out.
Lochte originally said the four swimmers were robbed at gunpoint during a taxi ride back to the Olympic village. His account was disputed by Brazilian authorities who said their investigation revealed that an altercation had occurred between the swimmers and security at a gas station. A conciliatory statement from the USOC obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday seemed to corroborate the Brazilian investigation.
Read the apology in full, below: "I want to apologize for my behavior last weekend – for not being more careful and candid in how I described the events of that early morning and for my role in taking the focus away from the many athletes fulfilling their dreams of participating in the Olympics. I waited to share these thoughts until it was confirmed that the legal situation was addressed and it was clear that my teammates would be arriving home safely. It's traumatic to be out late with your friends in a foreign country – with a language barrier – and have a stranger point a gun at you and demand money to let you leave, but regardless of the behavior of anyone else that night, I should have been much more responsible in how I handled myself and for that I am sorry to my teammates, my fans, my fellow competitors, my sponsors, and the hosts of this great event. I am very proud to represent my country in Olympic competition and this was a situation that could and should have been avoided. I accept responsibility for my role in this happening and have learned some valuable lessons. I am grateful for my USA Swimming teammates and the USOC, and appreciate all of the efforts of the IOC, the Rio '16 Host Committee, and the people of Brazil who welcomed us to Rio and worked so hard to make sure that these Olympic Games provided a lifetime of great new memories. There has already been too much said and too many valuable resources dedicated to what happened last weekend, so I hope we spend our time celebrating the great stories and performances of these Games and look ahead to celebrating future successes."

OK, then I'll ask again: DO YOU HOLD SWIM-FAST-BOY TO A HIGHER STANDARD THAN POTUS SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO MEET IF HE IS TO AVOID SHOCKING YOU? (It ain't a hard question).

Hard question? No.... Stupid question? Yes... and what the fuck is up with the bolded caps. Come back to earth dude and calm the fuck down.

Higher standard no. Same standard yes. ;-) Without going into a political ideological vortex (which I presume you want) name for me a time the current POTUS ever accused anyone (before the global community) of robbing him or anything close to what Lochte orchestrated.

I see; it isn't just the lying, it's the specificity of the lie(s). No problem: he accused (and caused to be imprisoned) Nakoula Nakoula of inciting "civil unrest" in Benghazi in an attempt to shift blame from his own incompetence right before the 2012 election. From all appearances your own personal bar for being shocked does seem to be much lower for a random swimtard than it is for certain high government officials who profess to be worthy of our trust. That's what's shocking!

Default Well, ain't this a kick in the head...

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...ties/89082232/

Imagine the surprise of the USA TODAY journalists who actually marched their asses down to the "crime scene" only to learn that the swimboys' version was mostly truthful...this is faintly reminiscent of the Duke Lacrosse lynching. I suppose the anointed will have to suspend their joy for a while...they do so love to apologize for and assume the worst of Americans abroad.

ehhh, on second thought, they'll just move on to the next bullshit that detracts from trivial stuff (sic), like a $400M ransom payment to an enemy nation that wasn't a ransom, then it was...that story broke around the same time as swimboy's "crime spree" did and it got a trivial fraction of the media attention directed toward the Lochte "scandal".

Here's the correct headline and the real scandal: "Swimmer forced to hand over money at gunpoint, calls it armed robbery, catches hell for it...while leader of the free world sends bales of unmarked foreign currencies to an enemy nation, denies he paid ransom, gets a pass"

I have been to Rio several times, I knew something was fishy about this story from the beginning. Now, just have to figure out why lie.............Bet he and the fellows went to one of the local Termas and decided to lie about it.............That's probably why they left the village without the security given to all of the athletes that want to leave the village.

I would not bet against that version being exactly what happened, especially since his original version began with what he told his mama.
