How are moderator chosen?
Shouldn't moderators be those who a lady can trust?
Someone that will protect, guide, advice our community in a positive manner? Help to keep this community safe?
I am appalled, disappointed and scared after reading that the new moderator for New Mexico is Doc Holiday. A hobbyist, that for starters, requests bareback.
St Christopher....... With all due respect, I truly hope you take the time to review and improve the procedure of selecting moderators.
If the ladies that also know the tactics of Doc Holiday would share their knowledge of him, we might be able to end his moderating career before he causes any harm in New Mexico.
I can't think of a reason why anyone would want to mod here. I am grateful for the 3 good ones we have for the San Antonio section. I thank them often even after giving them crap from time-to-time.
I bet it's tough to find anyone willing to mod. I would not do it even if it paid money.
Is this our own Doc from San Antonio? nah! Anyway getting back to reality! It's called "politics", it's everywhere in our work place, our government, in organized groups, in our own family setting! all you have to say is "NO!"
It's not the glamourous volunteer position you think.
When we become a moderator we must remove ourself as a Hobbiest when we put on the Moderator cap. Sometimes it's hard. Some guys and gals can't.
Bonn11 couldn't keep his ego, emotions, asspipe persona in check. He made many errors in judgement and used his modship as it should not be used. Girls in Both SA and Austin notified staff in multiple areas with his antics and he was removed.
Although Doc isn't the most loved or respected hobbiest in San Antonio or Austin, and his schtick may get old to read, he is not a San Antonio or Austin Moderator and with proper guidance become a decent mod in the areas he was assigned. Then again, maybe not. Only time will tell. If we follow the guidelines and ensure the membership follows them, it's pretty black & white, most of the time.
All Mods, including the 3 you have here in San Antonio have, do, and will make errors in judgement. Our egos are not so big that if called out we wont correct, apologize when needed, and move on.
All moderators will start writing posts, edit, re-edit, then delete when they realize they may cross a line.
If you feel any moderator takes unwarranted action on you for things you say in Open forums, Private forums, PM, email, or text, do not hesitate to report it.
However, just because you may not like a moderator, don't use that to interpret and analyze every post to cause unwarranted butthurt and twisted panties. We get plenty of that in the Dallas Forums. Sometimes the guys are worse than the ladies when it comes to butthurt panty twisting.
You shouldn't change your posting habits, alerts, and information exchange because you're concerned the eyes that'll read.
And for Pillow chaffer, yes you cause me fits of diarrhea too often.
Doc's shtick as a Grammar Nazi and Mod Wanna-Be in SA was an exercise in public buffoonery. His confident assertions of rules violations were wrong more than half the time, and when the Boatrd finally grew tired of him he took his balls and rode out of town. The fact that he volunteered to be an official Mod came as no surprise to me, as his desire to be a "Somebody" on a hooker board is well documented. I'm confident that he'll wear out his welcome in his new home, as well.

Now, if I am READING this correctly then Doc Holyday took Ms. Francesca out for a dinner date and he SHORTED HER $100!! Her stated fee is $500 for a dinner date (not to include the cost of dinner) and he deliberately SHORTED HER... This is THEFT...
So, Sir DH... can you explain to me WHY YOU DELIBERATELY SHORTED HER?!? If this was an OVERSIGHT on your part then how would you like to make it up to Ms. Francesca? I am sure that you can get the money that YOU OWE HER even though she is in Spain... Pay Pal? CC? etc...
At this point... I think you need to just SHOW HER THE MONEY!!
