Default HUFFPOLLSTER: Nearly Half Of Republicans Think Their Party Is On The Wrong Track

Republicans nationwide aren’t so sure their party is taking the right path. Polls indicate that Hillary Clinton is leading Donald Trump, but a lot could happen over the next few months. And Latino voters seem to be turning against the GOP. This is HuffPollster for Monday, July 18, 2016.

I think this election may even flip some red states to blue!

Nothing quite so idiotic as quoting a Huffpo poll.

They take polls from various other sources and combine them all. I also provided links from other sources as well, like the Cook Report.

I was talking to an older white gent the other day at Walmart who told me he was going to vote for Trump. I mentioned some of Trump's agenda and he didn't even know what it was! He was very shocked when I told him Trump wanted to privatize social security. He's always voted republican, yet he didn't know anything about the person he was going to vote for and his agenda. I finally convinced him to visit Trump's website and actually look at his agenda.

And you would be lying about Trump's stated intent in regards to Social Security, little girl:

Quote:
"We as a society must also make an ironclad commitment to providing a safety net for those who can’t make one for themselves. Social Security is here to stay. To be sure, we must reform it, root out the fraud, make it more efficient, and ensure that the program is solvent.” Trump

Forget about party lines. This whole country is off track. We as citizens are to blame because we willingly vote for these idiots and allow them to do whatever they want.

Yes, he said that, but look at his new website, it doesn't mention anything about social security. I know for a fact that GOP leaders do want to privatize it and so does everyone else in the country. Also, if Obamacare if repealed, people with pre-existing conditions, the poor and many seniors and will not be able to afford healthcare. It will be too expensive if left up to the insurance companies.

His website positions are also very vague. He doesn't really pin down exactly what he intends to do as far as healthcare, social security, or many other issues.

More correctly, little girl, it DOESN'T say what you said.

Great and truthful article and it's the main reason why I jumped off the sinking ship know as the GOP.

You'd be one of the clowns voting for the candidate Odumbo's FBI director called an unsophisticated, incompetent liar, lick dick, the candidate who has demonstrated that she cannot keep an American ambassador safe ... let alone a whole country.

If the Republican establishment thinks the party is heading in the wrong direction, then there may be hope for the party yet.

My parents were both republican and I even gave a pro-republican speech in grade school! Almost won. The republicans were different then. The GOP have become so extreme and resistant to change, that more and more conservative republicans are turning against them. I start leaning democrat when I realized how the middle class was shrinking and when I, myself, struggled as a middle class working American. That's not the only reason either. It's just one.
