I normally get tested at the RBJ clinic once a month. Need to make an appointment really soon.

I've always gotten tested every 3 months while in the hobby. I was always told that going any sooner than every three months was a waste of time and money unless I ever notice symptoms. I actually just got my three month tests done last week.

I used to go to Planned Parenthood and got their full STI screening test for like $100+ but now that they had their funding cut I decided to try the RBJ center for the first time ever. I was really leery of it because it's like a county clinic type thing and I was worried it would take hours and hours of waiting in a waiting room full of gross people but it was actually my most efficient (and cheap!) testing experience so far! I got tested for HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and it was only $20 total at the RBJ Health Center and the whole process took less than an hour!! That isn't some adjusted cost or anything...they only charge everyone 20 bucks! You get your HIV and Syphilis results on the spot and the others take about a business week to process.

Another thing I liked about RBJ vs. planned parenthood is that RBJ automatically gives you a number to call with your own personal ID code to reference that particular set of tests. So you can share your test results easily with your sexual partners directly from the source without just having a printed out piece of paper that came from who knows where and could have been photoshopped. Oh and RBJ also has a ton of free condoms like Planned Parenthood used to back in the day...including hard to find sizes! Not some "take a couple and leave some for the rest" either...they have small brown paper bags and encourage you to take as many as you can fit in the bag. Sooo if you grab the hard to find sizes and specialty condoms you can easily get the $20 you paid back in free condoms. Really happy with that clinic! They also offer FREE hepatitis and TB vaccines- I got mine years ago so it's a moot point for me but if you haven't had them I'd get them.

Oh and all my tests came back negative BTW.

I'd be very willing as long as it was reciprocated and wasn't used to bully/sweet talk providers into BBFS...though if we can't show real names how are we going to establish that it is actually that person? We could have a whole colony of lepers and one healthy person who's test they circulate.

Its true. We wouldnt know if it was someone elses test unless identities were also exchanged.. But it would be a good start wouldnt you agree?

Someday we will have Star Trek technology where we can just scan a bitch like a barcode and it will say "NO STD DETECTED...OR DANGER WILL ROBINSON! HOGGAR GOTS THE CLAP" Or something like that.

Going by this thread even the people who get tested the most frequently only get tested every two months...you could catch every STD in the book in two months and maybe even invent some new ones if you're not using protection.

Every 3 months full bloodwork (also get a Depo shot every 3 months) and when I get an annual pap smear I also ask my doctor to test with the fluids from that as well.
