All of the candidates - Trump, Clinton and Sanders - are wrong on trade. Most of the jobs we've lost were due to technological advances and automation, not trade agreements. And despite what any of the candidates say, those jobs aren't "coming back". We should focus on creating new jobs, not bringing old ones back.

Here is a calm, well-reasoned article on the subject...

(Note - you need to register in order to read the whole link for free.)

P.S. I support those anti-dumping levies against Chinese steel. Trade agreements set the rules. When a trading partner breaks the rules, hell yes we should retaliate. Chinese steel-making capacity is over 800 million tons a year. The US currently produces around 80 million tons - or 1/10 as much!

I don't know. Hilary's comment that she did not reply to Ambassador Stevens 600 requests for additional security because he was joking is pretty brazen.

Wow! Just wow... And people are going to vote for her.

It was a good speech. I'm still not voting for Trump, but if Johnson doesn't quit his impersonation of Bernie Sanders, the bus will run him over without any help from me. I want the Gary from 2012. He's changed.

I didn't hear all of Trump's speech, but I liked the tone and direction he's taking. It's not enough to get me to vote for him, but it was good. Even Ron Paul liked the speech.
Here's a clothes pin.
