No, for someone to remind meof Ricky the person has to have a certain outlook on life, a limited perspective, and a certain way of expressing themselves. If all three match--well then I start to wonder.
For example, even though I often disagree with your message you present your case in a much more logical way, you often have some evidence to support your arguments, and you are much less likely to rely upon a slew of insults to take the place of a sound argument.
Ricky intimidates me? Most assuredly not. Humors me in a three stooges way, with a little dark comedy (bad dark comedy) tossed in.

That was exactly my point--this is a message board for different points of view. We all tend to see some things differently from others. I used you as an "for instance" since I had read a few of your posts shortly before my last comment in this thread.
My point--probably not made well--was that while I didn't always agree with everything you said, I never once mistook you for Skippy Ricky. I don't ever remember where I disagreed with you in a way that led me to rail and rant against you, and if that is how I came across I apologize. Not at all my intent.

Many might not see me unless they work in gov't or are a gov't contractor. So....haven't had this happen yet. And I think most would be smart enough to act like they'd never met me before if we did cross paths in my civvie life.

OH I wasnt offended at all! Gave me an opportunity to make a point, actually the SAME point as you made...that a lot of times people wont agree with my TOPIC...and thats the nature of a chat board.
I am MUCH more involved in other chat sites than this little one. Sports & Politics mostly...where disagreement is paramount & the differences are REAL. I just would rather the debates be on the SUBJECT & not because someone thinks they "hate" me...even though they've never actually MET me.
Make sense?
