Ladies be VERY AWARE of this - Possible Large Backpage Payment Scam
Hello, I Travel on Business weekly to most Major Cities and see a lot of Providers in various areas. Personally as a hobbyist, I have always thought Backpage was rather reputable, but Ironically, the last several weeks, I have had numerous Providers mention to me that in Some way or Another Backpage has Scammed them. Or they felt backpage had scammed them. For ex, I had 3 different providers who did not know each other, in various areas say that they had sent Backpage Cash in an envelope, and they said Backpage told them that they never got their cash. I also had 5 different girls say that they had sent backpage some kind of payment, cash or money order, and backpage claimed that in the past they owed Backpage 'Back-Payments' because of Disputed credit card charges, (and these girls say they had never even used a credit card), Also a couple of Girls said that after using their card on Backpage all of a sudden, they got fradulent charges on their credit card account. I had a few also say that mysteriously some of their posts were 'removed' so they had to pay again to get them posted back on the paid section. So although, I'm not claiming that Backpage or Someone that may be working with Backpage is participating in any type of Dishonest activities, I would recommend that Providers and all Ladies out there be sure to keep a close eye on all aspects of your account. Keep all of your old credit card statements, and if you sent a payment just send with a Money Order that is traceable and refundable if it 'Happens to get lost', and send your payment with USPS Priority mail only with tracking or USPS Express Mail.
