My grandmother was a State Work-Release Correctional Officer for many years
I would say the ratio is almost comparable to addictions Recovery...
Many bounce back & forth before they either get it... or do something so heinous that they enter a life sentence...or die
Isn't that a bit sad & completely ...Just WOW
They become Institutionalized..
SEVERAL have genius level IQ's
I personally find it sad
Especially for the people that they victimize because they can't get it right in the real world
