Question about demand Downtown?

Since I have been out of the loop for a while I just wanted to check with you gents before I sign a new lease downtown ... is the demand for providers downtown still as great as it was years ago?

Since I live in the area getting an incall downtown is ideal for me, however if it is not good for my clients, it really doesn't matter how convenient it is for me.

No one wants to travel downtown unless you work there.

I would say no. nobody wants to go downtown and they can't park. Near downtown would be OK. Maybe somewhere along Dallas st or further south.

I've always provided in the loop. Never exactly downtown, but close by. Have always been in the Heights & the Trose. I am back in the Trose now and people seem to love it.

I always vote for inner loop. I think if your place has designated parking, people will be ok with it.

If y'all hadn't noticed, dt tends to actually have less traffic nowadays than many other inner loop areas. I drive through regularly and often use it as an alternative route to get places bc the traffic tends to be a lot less crazy.

Sorry to start this thread and run. I've had very little time without at least one person peering over my shoulder or "demanding" to sit in my lap (lol) over the following few weeks.

In the past I would say that upwards of 70% of my clients worked downtown so it was very easy for them to walk over or hop on the train ... with another 20% being from out of town, staying at a downtown hotel so getting to my place was not a problem ... and finally maybe only about 10% actually coming downtown just to see me.

But the fact is that there are so many men downtown and so few providers, that as long as a girl is providing high quality service, you can make a great living seeing only guys who work downtown. Of course I don't have all the statistics, but downtown Houston seems to be the biggest city, that has the fewest providers working downtown.

Maybe all the LE presence makes people uncomfortable, but as I've said in the past, if you see them out and about, that's a good thing, it's when you don't see them, that's the problem. LE downtown is not an issue at all. They are all so busy engaging in other things. There not paying any attention to a business man walking from an office to a upscale hotel or loft. That's common place behavior downtown.

I can see how the parking could be an issue, but just like with any good business that cares about their customers, if parking is an issue they will inform you of where to park before you come so when you get to their location you are not overwhelmed. Hell I'm happy to go out and take a picture of where you want to park so you know exactly what you are looking for. This all falls back on good TCB skills. Lots of people don't know that street parking is abundant downtown and always free after 6pm, all weekend and all holidays.

Well as you may have been able to tell, I did sign another lease downtown. The building has free valet parking (really free, no tipping) as long as I am parked on the street leaving my one spot open to my client, which I am fine doing.

Thanks to everyone for you input and if you decide to come downtown River, I'd be happy to help you find a good spot. I've been down here for 7 years now and know downtown like the back of my hand.

I agree Brooke. I feel that is always why I have done well, as well. There are very few providers who provide what I do, inside the loop. (Currently in between places, though this should be sorted by the beginning of next week!)

There is a shortage because downtown sucks, parking, fucking bums everywhere, police, Damn one way streets will fuck you if you're not use to em. I don't see myself going downtown for Pussy. But if there are men there's a demand for poon, good luck out there.
