Amarillo seems really quiet... more so than in the past

So with time on my hands and reading the forums a bit more than usual, it seems that Amarillo is a bit on the quiet side, even more so than when I have been here in the past.

Which is a real shame as I don't get up this way that often and have enjoyed some wonderful company in the past. I hope that will change before I have to head back or it just may not be worth it to come back through and stay in Amarillo. Or is this just characteristic of summertime?

Yes, Amarillo is slow this time of year and the oil price slump has made it even worse. We don't have near the discretionary funds now as we have in the past few years.

It's funny you bring up ncns, had a date with a vp scheduled for today and got nothing. Looking for some play but doubt I'll find any good actions. Suggestions?
