Exactly. The vast majority of those "jobs", (as pointed out in the article), would go to a new influx of workers, mostly immigrants, who are willing to work at minimum wage.

The way these big companies do this is borderline indentured servitude.

Just think of all the additional benefits to the community.
Taquerias, landscape and lawn services, maids, Judges for the DWI cases, more jail capacity for the DWI cases.......oh wait some of those are an increased cost to the community.

You know we have laws that take care of illegals but it seems we do not want to enforce them to the degree they should be enforced. The left would rather say we have a broken system of laws rather than our system of enforcing what we have is broken.

Of course the left fails to understand that there isn't an immigration problem, the problem is ILLEGAL immigration. Meanwhile the liberals establish safe havens while employing them on the side.

Every employer has to complete a Form I-9 for every new hire. This is supposed to establish employment eligibility and weed out illegal immigrants. I know it's easy to obtain fake IDs but why can't the DOL and INS enforce the law better? Just penalize employers who knowingly hire illegals and immediately deport anyone caught using a fake ID.

Doesn't the Social Security Administration somehow track how much illegals are paying into the system in taxes? If so, they must know who they are and which Social Security numbers were fraudulently obtained. So why don't they go after them and revoke their SS numbers?

You do realize you are talking about a government agency actually doing something that would be considered work.
I would also think you would hear a chorus of it is not my job..
The ONLY way something wold ever be done is if some politician wanted to make a name for themselves and managed to create a new government agency that he could chair the committee on and thus create a much larger government.
