Default Reviews ... Pros / Cons

In regards to the review process of Providers, it appears everyone has their own opinion of what constitutes a YES or a NO review. I am also aware that there is a STICKY on how to give a review. There has been much debate on many threads and in comments on the many many reviews done on ECCIE.

I have read many reviews where the reviewer listed PROS and CONS ... or LIKES and DISLIKES ... or POSITIVES and NEGATIVES. I find these points so much more valuable than a YES or NO.

IMO, something like this should be added in the ROS Section of a review and be mandatory for the review to post.

Put that tidbit of info in yourself. The straight YES or NO is for suckers without PA.

They don't need to know that she's a 'YES', but has a 120lb rottweiler that hates guys with little dicks (this dipshit system doesn't recognize the word rottweiler. Gay).

If they actually contribute to the board via paying outright or writing reviews (which, in effect cost money to write, since you have to see the girls to write them). They're a bunch of moochers, getting free 'YES's without giving anything.

Fuck 'em, I say.

Well, they tend to get a little boring and generic after the guy just says, 'Yeah, I saw____. She's cute. Had fun. Cleaned up. Said goodbye. Then I went home.'

That is a good idea.. & Ed, a lot of gentlemen say that.. I believe a lot of people are afraid to give a lady a "NO." They don't want to seem rude..

I base my selection process more on menu and skills, not just looks. So detailed reviews are a big part of my process. BTW, a few no's don't bother me for a well reviewed provider either. Not everyone hits it off or sometimes a lady just has a bad day. So yeah, reviews are very important; that's why I contribute to the community. Besides they are fun to read later and relive the action.

Some 'NO's are BS anyway. 'Oh, she wouldn't let me get MSOG with 10 minutes to go', or 'Her incall was too ghetto (even though he physically enjoyed the time with her and everything else was OK)'. There are other reasons, too.

While these example reasons have legitimacy to them in some way, a NO can be a bit harsh considering that the goal was met. This is why it's up to the reading audience to read the WHOLE review and determine if seeing the provider is worth it or not. Shortcomings can be pointed out, even while still giving a YES.

Hell, I have read some reviews that had a YES @ the bottom and one of the comments below was " Why did you give her a YES"? I have seen the same thing on reviews with a NO at the bottom.

I can only see positives with having this mandatory "Pros/Cons" or "Positives/Negatives" section within the ROS Section.

1) It will help newbies right off the bat. How many times have we bashed a newbie for a poorly written review because it was obvious they had not read the "sticky" on how to write a review. How much time is spent by moderators letting the newbie know that their review was poorly written and that they need to read the sticky before attempting another review. Most of the issues I have seen with newbie reviews is lack of content in the ROS. My proposal partially fixes that if it is mandatory before they can complete the review to be posted.

2) It helps the reviewer in the review writing process. It keeps us from becoming lackadaisical with the information we provide. It causes us to reflect better. It helps give uniformity in all reviews from one client to the other without taking away some of the creative writing that I have seen by some. This should not replace the ROS Section altogether. It should simply add to it at the bottom of the ROS.

IMO, I do not see any negatives. Please present them if there are.

Fancylady, I am going to politely disagree. The juicy details are what is good or bad for business. It can say in the activities section that BBBJ and DATY was included. However, the juicy details in ROS might show that each was allowed by the Provider for only a minute or two and that she obviously wasn't into it. That tells me I need to avoid that Provider because she obviously doesn't enjoy those activities. Now, obviously that carries little weight in the context of one review because I know there is the YMMV aspect. However, when I see similar comments in the ROS Section (the juicy details) of several reviews, it paints a clear picture.

After taking a 2nd look at Fancylady's post as well as the title of my thread, please understand that this IS NOT a thread about the Pros/Cons of doing reviews. They are important for many reasons. This thread IS ABOUT adding a section in the review inside the ROS Section to help give some uniformity at the end of the review. Information that will provide him with some key information when considering seeing the Provider in the future. More uniform information than a YES or NO.

I think it is a very useful idea. Personally, I find the simple "YES" or "NO" is almost useless. If a lady has a whole string of NOs it is a warning flag, but other than that it means nothing unless I know what the YES/NO is based upon so I can tell if it is something I care about.

A "NO" based upon a dark completion would mean nothing to me. A comment about heavy cigarette smoke would matter a lot to me, but if the reviewer was himself a smoker it might still result in a very energetic "YES" from him.

The explanation is what is valuable to me, that and WHO is doing the review--because there are some guys who have demonstrated that their likes tend to match mine. A positive review from one or two of them is all I need to be convinced I will enjoy meeting the lady.

Most the rest of the info in reviews I could do without--but it matters to guys who have different tastes than I do.

I believe a 1-5 rating scale on service and a 1-5 on price would help eliminate the inconsistencies. I realize it is still and opinion, but this would give us all some common ground and without exposing a name for those that do not want a review. Just give the location, I am ok with doing the rest of the work. In the Austin area it is becoming the popular trend to brag about spending 300-500 and then list a host of activities a porn star cannot perform. I am sure these reviews are giving for free are a very reduced price, to give the provider some credibility. This is a great place when we keep it simple and factual. I rarely review do the UTR request by the providers, but would gladly share a location, without a name. A 5 rating on service and price should say enough. I am all about Asian providers, so that is my expertise. The 300-500 providers in my opinion are not really apart of most discussions, other than to make the provider and hobbist a name for themselves.

Yep. Especially with young cheap BP spinners. They have to practically kick you in the junk 20 times to get a no.
