You accidentally left out a major part of the story. The rank and file want to have weapons at the convention. It is the elites, who have protection, who are adverse to people protecting themselves just like the democrat elites. So it is wrong to say republicans want guns in schools but not at the convention. Also, does this now mean that you approve of guns in our schools to protect our kids?
