References are an integral part of most providers screening, and you & your ATF are suggesting a very unsafe loophole to bypass that.

In addition, you're discussing screening techniques in detail, on a board that can be read by anyone, even LE… Not very wise.

I'm not clear on how this is a loophole, and how's it anymore unsafe than any other form of reference checking. And I don't believe I discussed any screening techniques that are currently in use. As DR pointed out references aren't the end all be all of screening and I discussed no details about how your reference checks are CURRENTLY done only how they might be done so I think your being a little melodramatic Ginger, not sure what your agenda could be for that. But it's not appreciated.


With only you two giving feedback it seems that my idea isn't warranted nor would it be helpful. No skin off my teeth, I'm pretty confident in the validity of the providers I have seen or would consider seeing so It doesn't affect me how you check references I just thought it would be an interesting discussion at the worst

Unfortunately you cannot dictate who is allowed to post on any thread. Secondly, what one's grandmother taught one is not relevant on a SHMB. You discussing screening techniques with your atf is disturbing. Are you also discussing security measures with your atf or educational optios with your atf? The question remains why has your atf not posted a taint photo?
