Haha.
But. This also brings up another example of people talking. Like the 3 ladies accusing babykins of BBFS and telling a hobbyist. It seems other stuff is flying around as OY mentioned girlie politics., the ladies should be named. Once again 1 lady is on thing. 4 is a whole different ballgame. May save a hobbyist the time. And may help a lady who doesn't want any part of the drama.
Until the ladies and gents start holding people accountable. Posts like these don't help anyone. By all means you aren't publicly shaming them. You are just noting Your displeasure. Everyone can use a little constructive criticism. Hell. I ask ladies who I see what I can do better. I am no stud by any means.
If anything. This thread I guess out 4 ladies and an agency on notice. I would check the SNAP OY. Seems there are always great providers available.

"hold people accountable", he says.
Very well, let's give it a shot.
What if it's the guy who's inciting all of these, 'girlie politics'?
Doesn't it strike you odd that OlYeller had 3 dates cancel because of 'girlie politics'?
Wasn't there 3 different ladies casting BBFS accusations?
Didn't each of those 3 providers, "tell a hobbyist"?
Didn't this hobbyist then relay those, "accusations from 3 different providers" (according to babykins), to babykins?
(and couldn't babykins have been cancellation #4 and the one who went, "radio silent" , as a result of all of this?)
That doesn't strike you as even a little odd?
Well, I don't wish to stone an innocent party, and I have absolutely no idea about any of this, I'm simply saying that it's certainly caused me to raise an eyebrow simply because of what's been said by you, him, and babykins.
So as not to smear his good name, let's cut to the chase.
OldYeller, have you been chatting up these ladies and causing these "girlie politics"?
If you have then we might have discovered the reason for all of the cancellations.

Nah. Nice conspiracy theory, tho... I'm causing my own cancellations?
Babykins was not involved, as the 4th or a topic of discussion.
BB was not considered by anyone involved.
I an unaware of any other clients being involved, but I don't understand the ins-and-outs of girlie politics.
I have nothing to do with "girlie politics" except to occasionally get blindsided by it.
Look - girlie politics are going to happen. Not anything anyone can do about it. But girls who get carried away with it are losing business... and my patience.

You should be 'on' the Sofa, my dear.
Let's work on that, want to?

YES you will be seen by several hobbyists and you may not feel comfortable in that environment, but you have to get outside your own bubble.
We'll see tomorrow if new faces show up to gain more attention.

Why might a provider not feel comfortable in that environment?

It's kind of like guys hogging the attention of a lady or following them around like a puppy. It happens and can be frustrating for a guy or gal trying to network.
Again. I am just reading what the rules are. Obviously you can't prove if they did conduct business at the M&G. And if they did I am sure they wouldn't deny it. I just think the rules need to be reminded to people.
|
I've never heard of this as being a rule. Yes, there's no "pay-fo-play" at the event, but there's absolutely no rule saying you can't leave with someone.
And how is it rude? What if she's uncomfortable in that environment, as golfnwine so eloquently stated? What if she persuades you to leave with her? Are you seriously going to tell me that's breaking the rules?
Granted, by the time I typically arrived, the event was well underway, and I'd typically hang around until the end, but the several times that I didn't, and happened to be leaving, while in the company of a companion, I've never, ever, ever had any issue with the organizer about departing with anyone, early or otherwise.
And our leaving poses a danger? How so? Please elaborate.
While doing so, please keep in mind that I'm not stupid enough to accept an offer of services for a price from an unknown,..
..even if it *was* for $50 from an unknown undercover vice-squad officer posing as a provider who slipped through the unattended doorway and gained entrance to an event in order to make her collars
...and also that I am aware that there are ways to converse which in no way place anyone in any jeopardy.
The rules state, "No pay for play at the event".
I have never broken that rule but to say that I'm not allowed to leave with anyone any time that we feel like leaving is a little ridiculous and you're going to have a tough time convincing me otherwise.
As far as 'hogging' a lady. Please. I've seen what you're describing. But if you haven't figured out how to make an introduction, then that's on you. A lady can only be 'hogged' if she allows it. If she's not comfortable with whomever is doing this supposed, 'hogging', she's always free to break away from them.
Yes, there are different pods of people that congregate together. These are typically open for others to join, make an introduction, or disregard. Most people aren't so socially awkward that they didn't feel welcomed...at least in the freaky and friendly pods that I tended to frequent. There were always people joining in and dis-joining for personal conversations and all sorts of nonsense. But nobody was ever unwelcome to join-in, in fact we'd always pull people in...they had no choice. ....they were just a little timid because we were always the loud and laughing pod. But never excluded anyone
The events are only as fun as you make them. Try to drop the shyness and make your introductions if you want to meet a certain someone. Do it tactfully and you might surprise yourself...

You all are getting away from the topic of this thread.
Let's keep the discussion focused on the topic introduced in Post 1 of this thread. The other things can be discussed in their own threads.

What was the topic?
Oh yeah, rates, and peeps thinking these sort of threads
are going to have an effect on them.
Got it.
For me, it's more of a timing issue.
If something shiny happens to catch my eye, and holds my attention long enough to set a meeting; good times.
If the ball gets dropped, or if I get slow-played, I quickly lose interest.
As far as rates are concerned...
If I can swing it, I'll make an attempt.
If I can't, I won't.
Guys bitching about a gals rate is as unappealing
as gals bitching about how slow their business is.
That's how I feel about the matter, anyway.

Business is business and all parties are satisfied when we deliver what we agreed on. Reviews are helpful, although I have never posted one as a principle. Of course, courtesies and understandings are mutually appreciated, I would say. Of course, sometimes things happen and people understand if either party is running late, plans change, etc.. It happens rarely, fortunately. Beyond that, really, in the very rare negative instances, I just stop going to that person. Life goes on.

FYI My bitchass is the one who went " Radio Silent" but not....
His original appt was for wednesday, He changed up to Tuesday because whatever reason. I worked my real world job on tuesday as I was scheduled until noon. Didnt hear anything so I got busy doing other shit. A couple hours later I saw I had a couple of VMs.. First one It said it was old yeller so i called it back. Telling him hey sorry Id just noticed the messages, if he was still wanting to come in he was more than welcome too. ..second Voice mail stated DO NOT CALL OR MESSAGE THIS NUMBER Lol whoops.
sent a pm too I think but not sure..
anyhow never heard from him again.
As for the topic of thread..
How busy it is for providers, how much she charges and whom she sees is in all honesty not anyones business but her own. This is a luxury not necessity. You dont agree with set price or menu, move around check out others until you find what youre looking for. No need to talk shit or critique a provider because you feel entitled to something. Yall do the same shit with others reviews, questioning shit like well why did you tip THAT much or whatever other stupid shit yall comment, his experiance is not yours so get off the gas.
Same goes for us providers. If hooker123 does specials or sees so many people a day, who gives a fuck. Its not your pussy so dont worry about it. Only thing I notice about certain providers and hobbiest that have no problems sceduling or getting business the ones who stay busy and are always in demand is attitude. Positive attitude. Law of attraction bitches! Others just like to throw shade, This is alot of the reason why I like the newbies and the lurkers. Theyre about their business and thats it. Dont gotta worry about gossip or snitching. Theres no drama because they know how to stay in their lane... but what the fuck do I know, im just a whore
Fml this place is worse than having a house full of teenagers whos periods all synced up.
Oh yeah btw good morning,Happy Saturday, bend over and all that good shit.

My problem has been time, or more exactly a lack of. Been working 50-60 hours a week for months and when I do get time off there is always someone or something that has higher priority. Hopefully I'll get some free time soon.
