She may not have broken the rule on this board regarding "members", but it definitely seems as though she has broken an unwritten rule of discretion regarding p4p anonymity, member or not.

You'll get no argument from me about the unwritten rule violation. That, in my mind, is a REALLY good way for a provider to get herself shot by the outed client.

That being said, the ECCIE mods are NOT the hobby police. Non-members getting outed by a member is no more their jurisdiction than a member getting outed by some BP skank that's never heard of ECCIE.

You don't have to like it, but the mods have NO basis to ban her. The board rules are the rules, and the unwritten rule of discretion means about as much as thoughts and prayers do.

Oh, and having blown up my fair share of shit, I can honestly say that music makes NO difference. It's all fun and games (until somebody loses a hand).

As far as the hobby police, that's already been covered. And you and WU are absolutely right. I believe the word threat is debatable but it isn't high enough on my priority list to argue it (plus it wouldn't matter anyway). I have a test to ace and money to make.

She broke a guideline. She's videotaping her sexual encounters and posting them online under the guise they are unaware, unsuspecting clients. A reasonable person would consider that threatening behavior. She has said in the past she past that she video tapes her sessions. Okay fine. But when she takes those videos public that's a threat of outting if not actual outting (which remains a mystery unless or until the subjects of those videos comes forward).

Nonetheless, the threat is still there.

I read and up interpret rules for a living. The guideline isn't exactly a model of clarity and can be read in good faith to support the view that in bans outing in general, or that it only bans the outing of members (though I'd lean toward the broader interpretation in enforcing it).

But to a more fundamental point, if the present rules don't ban the wholesale outing hobbyist's or providers who happen not to be members, shouldn't they? Why would thissite want to provide a home for those who engage in unethical conduct to third parties? How would that preposterous policy benefit the site or our members? Thus is not a question of being the "hobby police." We DO control our own membership. We what that membership to benefits us in some way. It's a question of what the
purpose of the board is going to be. Providing a gone and an effective platform for communication,advertising, etc. for those who damage the hobby through self-confessed unethical behavior does nothing to further the legetimate ends of the board.

Yes, us ficktards were stupid and made the visit for a variety of reasons and will have to face any fallout that may happen. We can only hope and pray that she holds to her word of not involving eccie members but the fear and threat of her or one of her ex-roommates obtaining that data and posting in spite is real and daunting, but it is what it is. for one will never, never, never trust the word "discreet provider" or "discreet location" and probably will never venture outside of a burb amp ever again. But everyone is different. At $250+ one would think there would be nothing but discretion there...eye opener for sure. Never again.
