Pretty boy, we are talking a top 5 college here not high school. You don't get paid 5 million a year to wait for rebuilding and have back to back losing records. Name a top 5 paid college football coach that has taken that long for rebuilding and kept his job. It's not rocket science

Just what I thought. You don't know what rebuild mean. Charlie Strong has had one full recruiting class and had to play most of his True Freshmen this year. It doesn't matter if it's High School, College or the NFL you can't expect a bunch of first year players to compete at a high level and play mistake free football.

I like Mack Brown but you do realize he went 5-7, 8-5, 9-4 and 8-5 after losing to Alabama in the 2009 National Championship game. That is totally unacceptable when you are used to winning 10+ games a year consistently. So what if he beat Oklahoma his last year. I remember when OU whipped Texas 63-21 and 55-17 the two previous years before and the game was over by half time. I also remember when K-state would call Texas players soft and said they had no heart.
Charlie Strong's Freshmen and Sophomores may make a bunch of mistakes but they played with more heart than anyone of those Texas teams from 2010-2013.

Pretty boy, heart don't win football games. Touchdowns and points that are higher than the team your playing at the end of the 4th quarter is what wins football games. I understand your one of those die hard gans that just continue to make excuses of why their favorite and only team is losing. Reality, is UT now has back to back losing records and didn't even make a bowl game and guess what? There are teams out there that had a losing record and still made a bowl. What's your excuse on that one? I'm sure you have one

Oh, by the way pretty boy Texas ranked 4th for relying on the most freshmen this year. That was behind Clemson, Penn State, and Tennessee. Texas was 4th with USC 5th. Do I need to say more?

The season 1956 keeps coming up as our last real shit time. When was the last time we had back to back loosing seasons? With a tough preconference schedule next year we could 3 peat.

It's called rebuild. Look up the definition. Texas went 5-7, 8-5, 9-4 and 8-5 after playing for the National Championship in 2009 and winning 10+ games a years for several years. You are going to have losing season when you are rebuilding.

Texas played Head(QB), Vahe(OL), Williams(OL), Burt(WR), Warren(RB) Jefferson(LB), Freeman(LB), Wheeler(LB), Davis(CB), Hill(CB). There are many more.
I don't pay attention to Clemson, Penn State or Tennessee but it only took me a few minutes to look at their two man depth chart. If they are playing or starting more Freshmen than Texas, they are lying on their depth charts. Clemson have a bunch of Freshmen on their two deep roster but it is not more than Texas and I only saw 3 starters. There is no way Penn State and Tennessee are relying on more Freshmen than Texas.

When was the last time Texas played 8 of the best offenses in the FBS? I've been a Texas fan since the 80's and I would say never. Baylor(1), Texas Tech(2), TCU(3), OU(7), Cal(8), OkSt(17), ND(25), and WV(28) all rank in the Top 30 in Total Offense. When your best players are Freshmen and Sophomores, there is no way you are going to shutdown high powered offenses. I've played enough football to know you cant expect kids who were playing High School last year to be consistent and play mistake free football. It's not going to happen.
Texas is only a few plays from being 8-4 or 7-5.

OMG- ole' hemorrhoid will not listen. ut barely beat a 4th string qb playing for Baylor and the ou win no one can explain and should not have happened. so under your this and that theories grasping for anything to make u look better way of explaining this year; we get back to a 5-7 record if that. under your own theories and hypothesis with the same players BUT A DIFFERENT COACH ut should be 9-3 under harbaugh or any other top 10 paid coach in the country! look you are a chucky fan we get that but shut-up!! there was a reason he stayed a cord. for so long; now we see the proof!!! mack was losing it at the end but he would still be doing a lot better than this, and he would not be alienating all the high school coaches in the state. the fact that we played some of the top 10 offs. in the ncaa has no bearing on the fact that we had the worst def. in the schools history, and I thought that was ole' chucksters strong point. even the offensive juggernaut of rice piled up a ton of yards against us, everyone did. so he really is not even good at that! maybe he could do some public organizing but he cannot coach. again the longer he stays the more recruiting will suffer, and the longer the rebuilding will take. lastly the longer he stays the more I will pull for tcu , tech and ok. st. to pummel ol'charles and his band of mis fits.

National Signing Day is tomorrow. I'm predicting Texas will have another good class and I wouldn't be surprised if they finish in the Top 10.
