What rash of de-commits are you talking about? Fire a coach after two years and one full recruiting class. I'm sure that will make the University look really smart. I doubt any big name coach would take Texas serious.

Just what I thought. You can't answer my question and tell me who are all the players decommitting from Texas. Malik Jefferson and Connor Williams were named to the Freshman All-America team and Texas had 6 True Freshmen named to the Honorable Mention All Big 12 Team when most True Freshmen rarely play valuable minutes in their first year. It's obvious someone is taking Texas serious.
Your problem is you believe everything you read on the internet and don't know how to do your own research. You talking to Alumni and Recruiters. Now that's a good laugh.

I can't believe this Tulsa guy turned us down. They were 6-6 and he didn't even call the plays. At some point we don't try to hire anybody and keep who we got. These OC's are thinking Strong is done. I heard our 1st 5 games next season are tough again where we will be 1-4or 2-3. That Houston head coach with Applewhite at OC are probably saying, we could be the team in 2017.

Latest news was that UT president, AD, and Strong flew to Tulsa to try to change Gilbert's mind and talk him in to coming to Texas. When is the last time you heard of such a contingent flying to Assville Oklahoma to beg for a position coach? I assume they're thinking if 2 OCs turn them down it will scare off other top talent as well as put a serious dent in recruiting. I'm sure they will have the UT pocketbook open wide, Gilbert can just about name his own price at this point.

So now what is Chucky going to do about the defense, the one that is the worst in the 122 year history Texas football. Surely he isn't going to keep his buddy Vance Bedford around for another year. Anyone hear any rumors?

hope he keeps him so the whole bunch will be run out of town next year! this group of coaches is the biggest joke of clowns I have ever seen. fenves should even be put on notice that these coaching moves are the wrong direction and the program can do a lot better! this time next year we will be looking for a new coach. a better, stronger and smarter coach. at that time all of you keyboard jockeys and enablers will not have any more excuses for ole' chuckster!

Read some of the BS you post in this thread. Since you seem to know so much about Texas, tell were the other candidates for the OC job since Sterlin Gilbert was the 3rd or 5th choice. Also, you seem to be the only person who think Shane Buechele is having second thoughts about coming to Texas. Fyi, he will be enrolling next month and is fully committed to play at Texas.
If you are a Texas fan, you had me fooled. You are nothing more than your typical Fair Weather, Bandwagon fan. Texas don't need so called fans like you. I wouldn't be surprise if you have never been to DKR parking lot let alone the Football stands for a game. You are doing nothing but posting a bunch of BS lies in this thread. I'm wondering what will you make up next.

response to pretty hemorrhoid you do not know me or who I,am and you are not worth outing myself on a hooker board! since you seem to have elected yourself the high sheriff of the ut football thread why don't you look back at your posts! all of the so called facts you have are about the same as all the others have that still think chucky can pull this off! we don't need it written to see the evidence written on the wall-chucky will be gone next year because he is over his head. shane is wavering, and is looking at Baylor and tcu and Washington state. high sheriff of the hooker board you are not as plugged in as I and I can definitely tell you are a stats man but stats rarely tell the whole story! I have been a season ticket holder since 1990 and have personally been inside of one of the Heisman trophy winners house several times. high sheriff you sir are no more than a bitter toastmasters debater who should watch who is calling a liar, i'am willing to bet you are the type who is into fantasy sports and is logged in to every game in town! get outside and play 60!!! you are evidently a chucky supp. I wish you well, but you will never change my mind that he is even a pop warner coach! I suggest to unlog yourself and talk to the people that are in the know!!

All I can say is, UT has the richest athletic department in the nation and the fifth highest paid head coach in the nation. This being said, it's pretty sad UT has two losing seasons back to back and didn't even make a fill up the bowl schedule this year. Oh, did they even fill thier stadium to capacity this year? Now that's what's SAD.

I'm curious. Have you ever played football before and do you know what it means to rebuild a team?
