This is an Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Gig that Roger Creager has been performing for the last several years at Brewster Street. Roger Creager lives in Katy, Texas & comes home to Corpus Christi to visit his parents for Thanksgiving.
Roger Creager is very popular with the Young College Age Students attending Texas A&M C.C. When ever Roger Creager performs in Corpus, his 80 year old Dad sets in for a few songs. Their speciality which they always perform together is singing Rancho Grande in Spanish. The Gringo Son & Dad do a very good job of singing Rancho Grande in Spanish & always have an Accordion Player accompanying/playing with them on Rancho Grande. Roger Creager is in his early 40's, he always plays a Medley of Old Neal Diamond Songs-it's Funny as Shit to see all the Young College Age Crowd that knows the lyrics/words to Neal Diamond's song Sweet Caroline & sings along to the song. I plan on going to Brewster Street tonight to see Roger Creager perform.

My old band played at the Ayers Event center one night. Was a young crowd mostly, all of the young metal heads were in the front row when we played Folsum Prison Blues and sang it word for word.
