there were two groups of insurers; those that would turn profits and those that would lose money. The ones that profit would provide a fund to cover the losses of the losers but the group of losers is too great. It would seem that the insurance companies were sold a bill of goods about how much money that they would make by Obama. They're losing money and are now stuck with their deal.
So where do we (and they) go from here? Single payer (the ultimate goal) is one option. Everyone bows down to government sponsored healthcare, unless you're rich or connected enough to go outside the system completely. A serious revamp of Obamacare with some realistic expectations. Chuck out the entire process once again turning people lives upside down. '
