A majority of the world would be about 4 billion people. Outside the Muslim world (1.5 billion), who hates us?

The majority of the world is clamoring to get into this county and/or to do business with this country. That's probably true even of the majority of Muslims.

Don't confuse griping about the US with hating the US. A lot of people in this country grips about China, or Russia, or Mexico, but how many Americans actually HATE those countries or their people

A lot of people in other countries may gripe about the US, but it is almost always related to our cultural influence in those countries. We have an outsized cultural influence, but that is a matter of THEIR choices not ours.

We don't force them to watch our movies, to listen to our music, to drive our cars, to buy our technology, to wear the same clothing styles that we do.

They choose to do those things. If some people in those countries are resentful of our influence, what are we supposed to do? Help out their home industries by making bad movies? Making bad cars? Produce lousy computers?

The Europeans can grip all they want about the influence of Google and Facebook, but who made them use those products? We didn't.

The only places where we are faced with real animosity are some of the Muslim countries. And they are, by and large, shithole backwaters filled with misogynistic, homophobic, racist religious nuts. Bin Laden and company don't really care about our Israel policy as much as they think we are hedonists who live decadent lifestyles who are corrupting their younger generation.

If you don't think so, then tell me why they seem so sex-obsessed - or should I say anti-sex obsessed? Why is so much of their rhetoric about men being in control over society and Islam being in control over ALL other beliefs. Their words and actions seem directed at keeping women "modest" and subservient.

Satellite television, internet service, and phones delivered unfiltered truth regarding the outside world which had been previously controlled and censored by those in power in those countries, whose children played in Europe (and the U.S.) on the money those "in power" drained from the resources owned by THE PEOPLE of those countries.

Those "in power" blamed the disparate conditions created by the plundering of the natural resources by them on the U.S. The propaganda war has been working ... it was started up in this country about 6-7 years ago ... as the current administration started class warfare.

IMO that is part of the problem with Israel in the Middle East. They took a sand pile and made it into an oasis.
