Thanks for all the suggestions. Westin looks nice, and an added bonus is I live close to the Galleria area so can get there easily.

Derek's pretty nice. It's clean and modern but I don't think the rooms are as big as they are at the Westin, Westin Oaks or Omni. Those three are all pretty nice and are going to give you more room to set up. Plus I remember the bed at Derek as being kind of low, fwiw.

I've been in derek at least once and one side of the room was built in furniture that was tacky.

It was a two-bed room and very crowded.
