A little variety other than BudMillerCoorsHeineken is nice... They all have the same bland taste. Some suggestions that might make me stay way too long:

Stout - Old Rasputin, North Coast Brewing
IPA - Sculpin, Ballast Point
Farmhouse/Specialty - Biere De Syrah, Jester King

That's a good choice on beer CB. I really like the ruby redbird from shiner on a hot day, you got some good variations in that pack. You'll be surprised how many will just go for the bud light I think. Hey keep us updated on how it goes.

With the thousands of micro breweries popping up there will always be an endless variety of what they are calling ' craft beers'. Some are going to be liked better than others, each according to their own taste. But beer, much like produce is best when fresh. Everyone always loves a fresh tasting pussy. The same applies to most beer. Most f full bodied ales and stouts are immune to time. But pilsners and lagers don't age well.
Which is why I would recommend the aforementioned St Arnold's. They offer a nice variety and being local you can almost guarantee it will be fresh. I love your Shiner and Blue Moon variety packs. Quite ingenious, smart girls are often the sexiest.
Shiner is also somewhat local, but their Bock is not a true Bock by German standards.

Big Points on the threAD. Beer is a great topic to bring in comments and also points for being smart.
we'll leave the wine comments for another threAD. You could start a series.

Very nice touch Ms Brown. I'm more into craft beer myself though not at the beer snob level. If I walked into a provider's incall and she had Sculpin or Southern Tier Chokolat Stout I'd be pretty impressed! Still, can't go wrong with the choices you made for broader appeal.

If you'd like to start stocking spirits and want a single malt Scotch recommendation, the two most popular in the U.S. are Glenlivet 12 Year ($45/bottle) and The Macallan 12 Year ($55/bottle). Neither are that fantastic for someone who really drinks scotch but they're the most familiar. If a restaurant or bar only has 2 scotches it will be those two most of the time.

If you just want to have a perfectly decent but inexpensive scotch on hand you can go with the Glenmorangie 10 year ($35/bottle).

If you are only going to have one Scotch offering but want it to be a solid one with broad appeal to many scotch drinkers I'd recommend the Balvenie Doublewood 12 year ($55/bottle).

Stay away from anything peated as it's an acquired taste not to everyone's liking.

Oh and for blended scotches to drink on the rocks or with soda a very popular and reasonably priced choice would be Johnny Walker Red Label ($25/bottle) or Black Label ($35/bottle).

Again, it's the thought that counts more than anything and stocking your incall like that is a very nice touch

I am not a Scotch person, but thank you for the awesome advice on Scotch selection. So if I get Scotch next time, I will know what to get

Or I can take up H.Hardhat's advice to start a series of thread on the top favorite beverages that guys would love to have at incall.

St Arnolds has some decent beer and yes beers "expire" after a couple months but you can get newly brewed beers from any craft brewery for as soon as it matters.
