Then you agree that the Pope is a fool for believing in a "sky daddy" and we should ignore him, right?

Again, you fall victim to your eternal struggle; the dichotomy. What I personally believe is irrelevant to someone else's beliefs. I can simultaneously believe that the pope and his religion are bullshit and everyone is free to make up their own mind on that count. He may make salient points on social issues but it does not make his religion any more real or palatable to me personally.

So you are a hypocrite. As we all knew. It's ok to believe in a sky daddy, so long as you're a liberal.

How do you get that from this?

I suspect the minute he left Cuba, the Communist Party sent out news flashes to all over the Island saying....."Pope Sanctions Castro Regime. Here he is sitting cordially with El Commandante".

I think you are one of the most sane posters on here, but completely disagree with you on this topic. Supporting a common principle with Castro, Obama, Bush, or anyone else does not in any way imply condoning/agreeing with other beliefs those people may have. And being seen with them does not either. You seem to be tarring with a very wide brush.

This works in open societies where the masses know the truth. In closed societies such as Cuba, he will be used as the "useful idiot" to advance their iron grip on the lives of the people.
