In your 'old age' you've gotten more sensitive to your own smell. Maybe you caught a whiff of yourself after work and it got to you. Then apologize to your SO for being mildly stinky all these years. You just never noticed it. Hell, you were talking to some younger guys at work/the gym and they all bragged how trimming down helped the smell, and it made you really self conscious.

Right? My SO never said a thing. Had it been necessary, I was prepared to tell her that I did it for her. Read online that it made things more enjoyable and thought I would give it a shot. Now it's been years, so I doubt she'll ever ask. If she does, I'll tell her it is a clean feeling that I like. I shave balls, taint, and around the stem.
