My advice would to visit Gulfport/Biloxi, Hattiesburg, or one of the suburbs out from Jackson.

You should check out Tupelo too. Great town and safe. Lot's of backpage girls, but there aren't many verified providers that come through here.

Yep, Gulfcoast is the real action and fun. Good beaches and hotels. If you book far in advance the cheaper the rates.
