The hobby means a source of intelligent, playful and safe sensual playmates, with no intended lifelong binding obligation from either party. (each party may or may not become enamored, but should be able to keep things in perspective even if they favor each other, maybe more than others) It means grateful friends who do not judge despite their own participation in the hobby, a roof over my head, sexual satisfaction, and food in my belly.

Ran across this post by chance. Saw your lyric response. What does the hobby mean to me? That I am divorced and alone and so desparate for affection I do this. I would not be a hobbyist if I had a relationship.

Participating in The Hobby is, for me, an act of afermation and independence.

I am older now and not quite the man I used to be in many ways. I have a disability that makes me dependent on family for transportation. My family is close (a good thing), but loving concern can become hovering.

When I schedule a session (rarely now) I am reaching out to find a bit of my former self, and to say, "Yes I can.", in more than one way.

The hobby has been a wonderful journey for me.

When I started in Feb 2014, I was 45, and I had only been with 2 woman in my life. I had been working hard, made a great career, but sacrificed a lot for my family. So I felt it was time to do something for me, especially while I was still young enough.

Fast forward to today, I had the pleasure of meeting 30+ new woman, seen the ones I liked several times. I have had several doubles, even one triple, and I still feel like I am just starting out. I made it a goal to see woman of as many ethnicities and backgrounds, and I feel I have grown a great deal.

I was able to spend overnights and weekends with my favorites. I don't know how long I will do this, and I don't want to think of how much I will spend on the most expensive hobby I have ever taken up, but I am enjoying every moment.

I am looking forward to taking a trip with the friend who introduced me to this lifestyle. We are going to Oxygen in DR, and we will have a blast. Might even go for a quad........

No regrets, just looking forward.
