How do you know if undercover??

Anyone, including LEOs, sex criminals and even underage persons may register on boards like these.

Getting further access usually depends on some sort of confirmation of, say age, or whatever.

Be careful out there, demand verification of those who have a limited history and definitely don't just jump in because a dude has x or y number of reviews, etc.

When contacting a provider, don't rely on contact info offered to you by a prospective client. Look the lady up here or elsewhere, and be prepared for rejection from other ladies who either have poor TCB or who don't have the time or the "sisterhood" will power to help other ladies. Especially beginners.

The biggest thing is to verify that the guy contacting you is the same guy from ECCIE. JoeBlow1234 on the phone or JoeBlow1234@gmail.com isn't necessarily JoeBlow1234 on ECCIE.

Exchange a PM (Private Message) before you believe it's really JoeBlow1234. Also watch out for similar names, such as JoeBloe1234 or JoeBlow124

As for long time ECCIE members with no posts, the long history probably improves the odds a bit. Sometimes, a bad guy will have a long running ID, but most of them don't. A long posting history improves the odds a bit further. Most of the bad guys are spur of the moment things, but some are more organized.

Don't put too much faith in screening, anyway. Always be careful. Realize it does cost you some business, so weigh the risks and benefits, and the level of screening you do.

Just to add to the "long time blank member" scenario, there more than few well-known scammers who, it appears from time to time, may have registered multiple handles years ago and only occasionally use them.

As GG above noted: your best security starts with first know who you are communicating with.

If a long time "blank" offers zero reliable vouching providers, best if you just move on.

True. However, there are quite a few upstanding guys who have ID's, see the ladies, are good clients, but never post reviews or participate in discussions.

You can't draw much of a conclusion from a long time ID with no posts.
