Providers Randomly Texting Former Clients

Please don't get my last post wrong, there are a couple of providers whom I like to see & the occasional "hello" text is ok. But the ones you've seen once & don't intend to repeat with who contact you every week, sheesh! It can be a bit of a pain.

Ive had them text and ask for financial help and as soon as I say "no" all of a sudden the texts become infrequent and short.

THIS is a good suggestion sir. As Lebowski said, a drop phone is fine but I don't do this enough to justify it.

I use Calls Blacklist.The app works wonders for me. I also works for phone calls. When the text or call comes in fro the number in question, it just dismisses it with out the notification sounding. It's worth a try. Hopefully it solves your problem.

She sounds like a winner and isn't likely to stop calling.

I agree with Jessica, it is unthinkable for a provider to be texting. That is a complete lack of discretion in my honest opinion.

Every single reputable provider on this thread has agreed with me so far.

The ladies are the voice of reason in this case and this is why the gripe is legit. If THEY were defending other providers doing this, that's one thing, but they've all agreed that it's INDISCREET and it is.

A drop phone or the google set up is the only solution though because you just never know.

Whether we use a hobby phone or not, texting the clients is not a good sign, one of the provider here is doing the same thing to me. I muted her number. She sends at least once in every two days.

I would never text or call a client unless they asked me to when I come in town, I'm not about to hurt someone home life and make a bad name for my self.. RESPECT is a big part of this job on both sides!!!

There are 2 providers and one FWB who are allowed to text me on my real phone. They both know the deal and know when is and isn't an appropriate time to text. Their numbers are saved under a guy's name so "Hey baby, what are you up to tonight?" would look like a joke if the boss did happen to see it. Anybody other than that texts me, hobby phone or real phone, without me texting first is going on my do not see list. That's bullshit.
