The Teacher is Back in Amarillo!
I'm back in Amarillo, been well over a year since I've been out this way.
Does anyone happen to know of a great steakhouse in the area? I will need more beef to sustain me than you boys can offer BCD's!
And... anyone that knows me, knows how I love beef anyway I can get it!

There is a new Longhorn steakhouse that just opened. I have not tried it yet but some buds told me they have and really enjoyed!. It's on I-40 west. Next to Saltgrass steakhouse. Basically its I-40 and Soncy.

If you want a private owned steakhouse and not a chain, I highly recommend Ember's Steakhouse. Get the marinated prime rib and bread pudding for dessert. You won't regret it.

Hello everyone -
I might make an attempt at the 72 ouncer baby!
I can think of much more fun place to cram 72 ounces of meat but that's another thread entirely!

I think early August if at all. This schedule I had to make a little weird.... after AM I have some commitments (best friend is getting married next weekend) so I couldn't hobby straight through. I will go take care of best friend duties then the wedding which is near Wichita Falls.
When I get done with wedding, I'll begin there leading me down to Dallas then San An where I have another summer personal commitment. This all leads me away from Midland / Odessa which I would love to go to. Long story short .... I'm tied up in other directions away from your area. But I may have a few days in early August I can run out to y'all and make that my only or one of my only stops!

I agree Embers is great. I am not that impressed with Salt Grass. Another hole in the wall to check out is Coyote Bluff on S Grand St.
