Newbie Questions: Strange Texting: pls help

Hi Guys,

So my first week, lots of response. But it's as though some people either don't see the profile ad, or are dumb and don't read it. I've gotten texts asking me for reference because I dn't have reviews yet. two said 'because there is no phone number or review'..
Well I AM verified.
How is it there is no phone number if they are texting me?

What would you do to verify these people?

I augmented my ad to be clear on my no texting policy with strangers and the procedure I'd like to follow. What to do when someone fails to follow procedure? drop it?
Is there a glitch or spot I ought to fill out or change in your opinion?

Not sure this will help Goddess, but here was/is/sometimes my experience on this site. The problem might not be anything to do with what information you put out. It might be because often "us" guys don't see the details. Often (I would assume especially with newbies), we are like kids in a candy store! So MANY colore, flavors, textures and mixtures that our brain goes "overwhelmed" mode. Sometimes we get so focused on the good stuff, we fail to see the important stuff.
I'm guessing you have a few of them. You might also have some goofs just pestering. Maybe you can sort them out. The newbies can learn to focuse, the goofs just need to be blocked. Good luck and hope this helps?

The male body only has enough blood to power one head at a time. The one you are dealing with doesn't have a brain inside of it, so therein lies the problem.

But seriously, I deal with people day-in and day-out who don't have the cognitive skills to comprehend what they are reading, no matter how simple. Only suggestion is to make a list/bullet the items for step-by-step instructions, but there will be some that still cannot follow it.

However, giving them the benefit of the doubt, do you think that maybe they are saying there is no number on the reviews, meaning they cannot associate it with the number you are posting to verify you are legit? Some use this as a "primary key" for parsing a search/associating it with you.

personally i don't have a number or here i only provide numbers for the dates that i will be sure to see you must have a number up somewhere for these fellas to text you how are you verified? i would simply reply back with a simple hey baby I'm not comfortable with texting please private message me. phone numbers are for already screened seriously inquiring client not for anyone else hopefully this helps

I think we get over excited and use our little head to reply to profiles... especially if they are long. Remember some of us use our mobile devices at times making small print and long profile text a problem. My suggestion is to put your inquiry info up at top of profile....

Darlin' - first thing I would do is remove the phone number and also figure out how to use eccie to screen, vouch, verify potential clients. Forcing folks to use the site is much better than openly displaying a phone number imho.

I would say that this is probably the smoking gun! I am a newbie, and even though I spent hours on the site over a couple of days before I sent a message, I did the same thing. I would just graze through the profiles quickly, but afterwards I came back and read my favorites thoroughly. All the experience members on here have had pretty much 1 suggestion in common, PATIENCE, so I am heeding the advice of the wise. I have contacted 2 providers, and I am in kick back and wait mode. And that doesn't mean that which ever one responds first is my pick, I would most certainly see both. I am going to wait a few weeks, and if I don't get a response, I will assume it is due to my member statis, and look specifically for newbie friendly, so I can get established. This was also advice given by established members.

But with that said a plentiful portion of dumbass could be contributing to the deficiency.
