For me, my hobby budget is what it is, and so I will mostly stay within that, although sometimes I do splurge on a lady a little higher than my range and I have generally been very happy when I've done that. I guess sometimes you do "get what you pay for".

Actually, lots of folks raise rates to limit customers. Law firms do that all the time. Say a lawyer can bill 2,400 hours a year. At $500/Hr., I have 3,500 worth of business. I can't handle the extra 1,100. Assuming I can't hire an additional lawyer that can do the same work -- it's specialized and non-fungible work -- I'm raising my rates. It's not enough to add a full time partner who has my skills, but it's too much for me and my current staff.

Also, suppose I'm a few years from retirement. I want to work 60 - 80 hours a month. I prioritize my clients by working on the most remunerative types of cases.

Some surgeons do the same thing. Only want to do ten operations a week -- operate two days. Would rather play golf on Thursday afternoon after 1 1/2 days office practice. Don't take low paying insurance, only better paying. Harder for docs to do because their business is becoming more comoditized than law because of third party reimbursement, but some do it to the degree they can.

The concept of equilibrium I think is a great way to look at pricing. Though with the huge variability of providers I'm sure some pull a number out of a hat LOL. Others like Grace and Ms Thom have thought out what their business model is going to be. I'm like many others and have a self imposed hobby budget so I have to choose frequency vs cost. Some ladies are beautiful but I'll never see them due to price. Frankly I'd be very flattered if a provider offered me a discount or grandfather price ( I'm not that old yet but eventually LoL).

As many have said they charge what they want we pay or don't play. Many providers already have real jobs , some will never get a job and when the phone stops ringing or the car breaks down the price will drop.

Maybe the formula is need vs want ? What do we want and what do they need ?

I don't haggle their price. Always figured that's what they think they're worth and I would do the same if reversed. Supply and demand for your product.

I have paid high and low and looking back, very little difference in the product, just differences in the amenities: of course the connection you have with her, the condition of her incall, and any other extras you may think of.

It's about the experience, and I can say that since I am, I guess what you would call a senior citizen. The younger fellows will have a different opinion of their experience. They want to fuck it, I want to enjoy it.

Though I am at a point now where I'm more prone to sitting in front of my laptop than going out and spending 250 or more for an hour of satisfaction. I'd rather spend my money on something that will give me more than 60 minutes of pleasure, but I'm sure I'll find how that works the next time I try to schedule with one of you ladies that read this?
